Paris Hilton, who had $2 million in jewels stolen from her home last year, has gotten almost ALL of it back… thanks to the LAPD!
Hilton’s publicist, Dawn Miller, told PEOPLE magazine:
“Paris went to the police station last night to retrieve her stolen belongings. She didn’t get everything but fortunately most of her jewelry was returned. She is really pleased and thankful to the LAPD for their help.”
The 28-year-old socialite is one of a string of celebrity victims — including Audrina Patridge, Lindsay Lohan & Kourtney Kardashian. In the case of Audrina & Lindsay, Police have arrested five teenagers in connection with the break-ins.
UPDATE: According to E! Online, a spokeswoman for the LAPD says that 19-year-old Diana Tamayo, 18-year-old Alexis Neirs, 18-year-old Courtney Ames and a man named Roy Lopez were taken into custody Thursday as part of a sting operation.
The Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch has made all kinds of headlines lately and with high profile victims like Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton it’s no surprise why.
There are now a total of 6 suspects that have been arrested on various charges and as the list of villains gets longer so does the list of victims. According to TMZ, the original suspect, Nick Prugo, had tons of evidence on the computer that police confiscated from him.
His computer revealed that he had googled titles like “Paris Hilton Diamond Watch” and “Lindsay Lohan Blue Rolex” and mapped out Orlando Blooms house using google map. Police also found a picture on Nick’s computer of a girl wearing a blue Rolex.
Today police discovered that the ring leader is 19 year old Rachel Lee, who was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday, October 22nd.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that she is suspecting of organizing the whole plan to steal cash, jewelry, clothing, luggage, purses and various other items from Hollywood celebrities.
Police found a series of items that may have been stolen from the stars which include a hat linked to Lindsay Lohan, jeans linked to Rachel Bilson and partially nude photos linked to Paris Hilton and Paris was already spotted picking up some of her belongings at the LAPD Hollywood Division around 2:30 am.
