Rumor has it that Entourage’s Jeremy Piven is dating Mad Men’s January Jones.  Say what?!

The rumors first started up after Jeremy and January were spotted leaving the Golden Globes arm in arm.  Not only do they seem like a total random pairing, but Jeremy is a well-known womanizer in Hollywood, would January really go for someone like him?

Apparently so.

January and Jeremy were spotted together a second time in New Orleans watching a football game between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings.

Love is in the air…I guess??

What do you think of Jeremy and January’s rumored romance?

Posted on 22 December 2009 by Kat

Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Entourage star, Jerry Ferrara have split, according to one of Sigler’s friends.

jamie-sigler-jerry-ferrara

Sigler attended last Tuesday’s screening of It’s Complicated at the W Hotel in Los Angeles by herself.  And, this past weekend, she was spotted out with her best friend, Lance Bass, shopping in New York City.

Of the breakup, the source says:

“Lance is a really good friend to Jamie. He’s been helping her out and giving her good advice. They were playing Ping-Pong and laughing, and it didnt’ seem like she was sad or anything was wrong. Lance was being really funny and entertaining her.”

While Sigler has been hanging out with Bass, Ferrara has been womanizing with his slimy Entourage co-star, Kevin Connolly.  Ferrara and Connolly have been spotted partying at Hollywood Hotspots surrounded by tons of ladies.

Jamie-Lynn also plays Jerry’s girlfriend on his hit HBO show.

2009 Alive! Expo Green Pavillion Emmy Week Event

Posted on 22 September 2009 by Jaclyn Mullen

The Emmy’s may have passed but they always leave an impression upon us.  From who wore what to who won what, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and their popular award show can get our celeb loving hearts pumping every Fall.

Another event that went on during Emmy week and hosted the likes of Debi Mazar (Entourage), Corey Reynolds (The Closer), Dr. Garth Fisher (Extreme Makeover), and Daphne Zuniga (The Original Melrose Place), was the Alive! Expo Green Pavillion, a “natural products and green living” consumer event.

Going green was never so easy in Tinsletown!  The expo had all kinds of natural and organic products for pets, family and friends, the home and of course one’s self.  Here’s a sample of companies that participated:

  • Cellceuticals-New Skin Care Line by Dr. Garth Fisher
  • Aubrey Organics, 100% Natural Hair, Body and Skin Care
  • Zico, Natural Coconut Water
  • AnnMadeArt.com, Handmade jewelry
  • AquaMantra, Healthy Water

The events two founders, Patrycja Siewert-Towns and Kim Shimmel also maintain Project Green, a 501c3 non-profit which invests in “preserving green space in the Southeastern United States.”  These two dynamic women will also develop a sustainable “BACK TO BASICS” summer camp for children and teens with programs that will highlight the environment.

And just like next year, when we anxiously tune into the 2010 Emmy’s to see who wore what, the Alive! Expo Green Pavillion will return and prove that in Hollywood, going green is not a trend. It’s got its very own star power!

Jeremy Piven Talks to Parade Magazine

Posted on 12 August 2009 by Kirstie

Jeremy Piven recently sat down to talk with Parade Magazine, with whom he discussed the controversy over his leaving Broadway’s Speed the Plow due to mercury poisoning, his upcoming projects, including comedy The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, and more.

The other side of Ari.
“For those that love me on Entourage, they’ll see some similarities in Don Ready in The Goods, who is kind of an abrasive, fast-talking car salesman. But the journey Don goes through, Ari Gold would never go through. He’s just a different human being, a great huckster who figures out he isn’t happy with his personal life. So in a way, it was completely cathartic to play a guy who desperately wants to evolve.”

Connecting with the search.
“I relate much more to the guy in The Goods, who’s sort of maxed out, putting everything into his job, and wants to settle down and find something more in life. I need more time in my own life to find the right balance, to be honest with you, and I’m trying to do what I can. Balance is something I’ve been seeking and I did take some time off, which I haven’t done in years.”

Getting pumped up to play Ari.
“I have to kind of whip myself up into a frenzy to get to his level. He’s always in a state of movement and high energy. But it’s a gift to be able to play that guy. I just am incredibly blessed that I have this role that allows me to keep exploring the dualities of a tragically flawed, type-A wrecking ball.”

No aid from artificial substances.
“Espresso is the deepest I’ll go in terms of getting amped up. Back in the day, I did dabble. I’m not running for office, so I can say that.”

The selling of Gold.
“I know they have like ‘Ari Gold Entourage hotel suites’ now. I think someone is making a great deal of money out of it, and I’d love to find out who it is. I have no idea. People say like, ‘Wow, you have your own line of jeans. I’m like, ‘I do?’ So you go to the store and there are the Ari Gold jeans. There is a lot of merchandising, but I don’t really have anything to do with it, and I don’t think I’m getting a piece of the action.”

Check out the rest of the interview on Parade.com, and also watch the video of his interview below:

‘Entourage’ Episode 3 Recap

Posted on 30 July 2009 by Lexacahn

entourageIt’s Turtle’s birthday, and although everyone is there to help him celebrate, Turtle isn’t in a happy birthday mood.  His mother calls him and tells him that he isn’t doing anything with his life after she sees a picture of Turtle in a magazine with his actress girlfriend Jamie Lynn SiglerVince tries to cheer Turtle up by taking him to the Ferrari racetrack to do a bit of Ferrari racing.  After the race, Vince surprises Turtle with a brand new Ferrari!

Meanwhile Eric wakes up after spending a night with his new love interest Ashley, to find his french press broken, and Ashley lounging on his couch, watching Eric’s pilot, and drinking coffee like she lives there.  She then proceeds to tell E that she hates Charlie, the star of the pilot who also happens to be E’s client.

Later on, E goes to see Ari to talk about future film projects for Vince, and while he’s there he gets word that Charlie didn’t do well in the pilot tests and that he is going to be re-cast.

Meanwhile Jamie-Lynn comes over to give Turtle his present, which turns out to be ANOTHER car — a brand new Porsche.  This depresses Turtle even more because he feels like he wants to be the one to buy his own car, he doesn’t want his girlfriend and his friends to have to take care of him.  Turtle then goes to Ari for advice, saying that he has an idea for a way to have his own career, and Ari harshly, but realistically, tells him to come back once he has a real business plan.

entourageE returns home, distraught over the network’s decision to recast Charlie, and much to his surprise Ashley is still in her underwear, lounging around his house.  She then seduces E with a little “afternoon delight” after which she walks him through the reasons why Charlie isn’t likable in the pilot.  E then calls Ari, asking for advice on how to keep Charlie in the pilot.  Ari of course tells him to go in there, make a huge scene, and if that doesn’t work, pull the race card.  E thinks this is ridiculous, but next thing you know he’s marching in the office like a BOSS, and telling the exec that Charlie is amazing, that he can’t believe she would dare recast him, and when that doesn’t work, he says “Well, maybe you’re a RACIST!”  Cut to E driving home, telling Ari that he actually followed his advice, and laughing about it although he couldn’t save Charlie’s job.

Everyone later meets up for Turtle’s birthday dinner, at which Turtle announces that he is going back to school to learn how to run a business.  E tells Vince that he can’t be a producer on the pilot anymore because he doesn’t feel right about it, and he also says that he actually thinks he really likes Ashley, despite hating her earlier that morning.  But everything is okay because it’s Turtle’s birthday and life for the boys is good!

Entourage Episode 2 “Amongst Friends” Recap

Posted on 21 July 2009 by Lexacahn

I am happy to say that Entourage is not letting me down this season.  Things are really picking up for the boys in Hollywood.

entourage

Last week we were left to wonder if E would take Sloan up on her offer of moving out of Vince’s “frat house” and into his own place.  This week’s episode begins by answering that question, as we see E and the boys moving all of his stuff into his new place.  In the midst of the move E invites Sloan to go to the premiere of Vince’s new film The Great Gatsby with him that night, and she says she’ll only go as “friends,” to which E agrees.  After Sloan leaves, E’s new neighbor Ashley, whom he had previously hooked up with, comes over to welcome him and basically makes it obvious in the most painfully awkward way possible that she is smitten with E.

Meanwhile Ari coaxes Mrs. Ari into having lunch with his business partner Andrew’s wife, so that when the foursome go out for events the men can talk business while the women entertain themselves.  While the two wives get along great, Ari discovers that Andrew hasn’t been able to keep it in his pants and is having an affair with one of Ari’s young female agents. Ruh roh!  Bad news bears Ari!

Cut to the premiere.  The boys arrive with all of their dates: Vince with his random hottie of the week, Turtle with his girlfriend Jamie Lynn Sigler, Drama with Kelly (one of their usual salesgirls), and E with his “friend” Sloan.  This is actually a really great moment, because you see that Vince’s star has once again risen to the top, and he is that movie star that he always wanted to be.

entourage-ashleyAt the party, E runs into Ashley (crazy scary skinny stalker neighbor girl) who is really rude to Sloan and makes it even more clear that she’s psycho after she found a way to get to the premiere just to see E. E brushes Ashley off and Vince convinces E to tell Sloan that he wants to be with her and that he doesn’t want to be just “friends.”  E pretty much professes his love for Sloan to which she replies that she thought they were just going to be friends, to which E replies that he can’t just be friends with her, to which Sloan replies that maybe they shouldn’t be friends at all.  So E gambled and lost it all, but not quite.

After the premiere he gets a call from psychotic neighbor Ashley who apologizes for being rude to Sloan and invites E over at 3 am.  E says “why not” and leaves to see Ashley, when he gets a text from Sloan saying “I’m sorry!”  Then he deletes it.

End of episode.

Basically…Ari is royally screwed because Andrew cannot and most likely will not keep it in his pants long enough to be successful within Ari’s company.  I predict that he will drag Ari down with him as he gets even more tangled in the web he has already woven.

E has made an awful decision in going to hook up with Ashley again because she’s already a stage 5 clinger…I predict things are going to get even WORSE…Ashley’s going to go “Basic Instinct” all over E when he decides to get back with Sloan.

Until next week!!

Entourage Season 6 Premiere Recap!

Posted on 15 July 2009 by Lexacahn

I am proud to say, that Entourage is officially BACK people!

The season 6 premiere episode was this past sunday and it did not disappoint as I feared it would!

adrien-grenier-kevin-dillon-kevin-connolly

Let’s recap shall we?

The episode starts off about 6 months in the future from the time we last saw Vince in New York when he was getting the offer from Martin Scorcese to star in his new adaptation of The Great Gatsby.  Vince is back on top of his game, and he is now a bigger moviestar than he was during the Aquaman hype.  Vince is already done filming The Great Gatsby and is getting ready to star in a new film where he will be playing a racecar driver, which means, Vince needs to actually learn how to drive.  It goes without saying, Vince SUCKS at driving, but he bribes the guy at the DMV with Gatsby premiere tickets.

The rest of the boys have all been flourishing in their own lives as well.

E’s business has been growing and he’s been making a lot of money, enough money to consider buying a house that Sloan’s friend is selling. E also still has some sort of connection with Sloan and it’s pretty clear that it’s not over between the two.

Turtle is still with Jamie Lynn Sigler and their relationship is going strong, which is great to see after Turtle has had to fly solo for so long.  (In real life, the actor who plays Turtle, Jerry Ferrara, is actually dating Jamie Lynn, so it’s really cute to see their chemistry on screen!)

Drama is still on his hit TV show and is doing well living in his own place.

Ari thinks he’s back on his game at work until his faithful assistant Lloyd confronts him with a demand for a promotion.  Ari laughs it off until Lloyd threatens to leave him if he does not give him an answer.  Finally, Ari decides that he will give Lloyd and opportunity to prove himself: 100 days of hazing.  If Lloyd makes it through 100 days, then he will receive a promotion.

All in all, this episode is all about each of the boys move towards a more independent life.  Vince got his license and doesn’t need Turtle to drive him around anymore, Turtle has his own thing going on now that he’s dating Jamie Lynn, Drama finally has his own place and his own fame, Ari is on the verge of losing Lloyd who has become like his partner over the past few years, and E is considering moving out of the house to live on his own.

I loved the first episode and I can’t wait for the rest of the season to see what twists and turns their lives take!

What’d you all think?
