Not sure how you want to celebrate Earth Day?  Well, there are a number of events going on in the LA area.  One big event is the Venice Eco-Fest.

Venice Eco-Fest 2009 will be held on Saturday, April 27th, from 10:00am to 7:00pm and feature green technology, green entertainment and solar sound stage, organic treats, bicycle parade, eco booths and displays, and much more.  This is one family fun event worth attending.

We here at Hollywire like to keep you updated on events going on within the Los Angeles area for our LA readers who want to get out in the Hollywood scene a little bit more.

This Thursday night, March 26th, there is a FREE event at Foxtail (personally,one of my favorite clubs in LA by far) for anyone in the dance industry/anyone who wants to have an amazing time!  It’s going to be hosted by well-known choreographer Blake McGrath, who has been on reality shows So You Think You Can Dance and Dance Life, as well as numerous Britney Spears and Janet Jackson videos.

Speaking of Janet, “Ms. Jackson If You’re Nasty” is supposed to make an appearance at the event, along with tons of other celebs!  The event goes from 10-2am, there are drink specials from 10-11pm and once again there is NO COVER.

So come out, dance, meet people in the industry, celeb stalk, and have an AWESOME TIME at Foxtail this Thursday night from 10-2!!

The Blackberry Luxe Series did it again – throwing the best party in a city filled with ‘hot’ parties.  Last Friday night, August 29th, Colby O’Donis and DJ Clinton Sparks hosted the Blackberry/T-Mobile party at Club Area.

VIP’s were invited to an exclusive cocktail party, and if you owned a Blackberry (who doesn’t in LA?), you got the celebrity treatment all night — endless hors d’oeuvres, free cocktails, being surrounded by beautiful “Blackberry Girls,” and a red carpet.  Not a bad way to spend the labor day weekend, right?
