One of the world’s most renowned designers Alexander McQueen, was found dead in his apartment this morning in his London flat, believed to have hanged himself.
Alexander’s death seems very out of nowhere to the general public, but this incident comes just days after the death of his mother Joyce.
Police are still investigating.
Alexander McQueen was one of the youngest designers to be named “British Designer of the Year,” which happened four times in the span of seven years.
Mcqueen was one of the most beloved designers of Hollywood.

Los Angeles is known for many things including celebrities and fashion so it came as no surprise that LA Fashion week wrapped with “LA Fashion Weekend” at Sunset Gower Studios where actress Mena Suvari was sitting front and center.

Earlier this year, Mena and her fiance were #92 of the top 100 celebrity couples according to www.zimbio.com and OK Magazine pointed her out in September for hopping on the Twilight vampy nail color train. With a darker do (and still sporting the Twilight vamp nails) Mena watched models work the runway for the first ever Divison-E Apparel Fashion Show. *Fun fact, Twilight star Ashley Greene has recently been spotted in a Division-E tank.

Taylor Swift, the 19 year old country singer who’s album “Fearless” has topped the charts for the last seven weeks, is about to start her own clothing line under L.E.I.’s signature, exclusively sold at Wal-mart. Taylor is designing a one-season collection of colorful 100% cotton sundresses that will retail at $14 and will hit stores February 1. Two additional styles are planned for a March release.

“We looked at partnering with many different people,” said Jack Gross, group chief executive officer for the jeanswear division at Jones. “Since we are partners with Wal-Mart, it was very important for us to find someone with a good reputation and someone who we didn’t have to be afraid of getting any sort of bad press. She is so famous, but really so grounded,” he said. “We liked her immediately.”
“One of my favorite things to wear is a sundress, so I loved designing this new line with l.e.i.,” she said in a statement. “It’s fun to find great clothes that are affordable, so hopefully fans will be happy to see my sundresses at Wal-Mart.”
Ok here we go again, another celebrity trying to sell their name to make more money than they could possibly need. Ashlee is teaming up with Wetseal and designing t-shirt’s for teenage girls that will sell in conjuncture with the release of her new album Bittersweet World.

Yes! Finally a ‘Project Runway’ winner capitalizes on his victory and actually lets us be a part of his new found fame.
Project Runway’s season 4 winner, Christian Siriano and Elle magazine editor and judge, Nina Garcia, will be making a guest appearance on ‘Ugly Betty’ during May sweeps week.
There has been no word yet on what the two will be doing in the episode, but the show press release asks, “How fierce will it be when Christian and Nina meet Betty (America Ferrera), Daniel (Eric Mabius) and the other Modies? And what will fashion wunderkid, Christian, do when he crosses paths with Mode’s own hot tranny mess, Alexis Meade (Rebecca Romijn)? Stay tuned.”

Grammy winner, Amy Winehouse wants to be a fashion designer.
Ha ha ha. Oh wait… she’s not kidding. Um does anyone else see something wrong with this picture? I mean come on, every time we see her it looks like she either just got out of bed and threw on some clothes or she looks like a $5 hooker. I don’t know about you but neither of those looks would I want to replicate.
A pal of the “Rehab”singer told the tabloid: “Amy’s style has been copied by girls around the country and there’s a lot of money to be made. It’s a very distinctive look.”
“She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume,” they explained.
Well good luck. Maybe the line will do well in her country, I don’t know about ours.
Hayden Panettiere is the next celeb to be the spokes model for Candies clothing line. Other celeb’s that have modeled Candies are Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Osborn, Ashanti, and Jenny McCarthy.
