Ladies, we’ve waited four long years for the Sex and the City movie and it’s coming out in less then a month. As just as the four fabulous Manhattanites would, we need to make the premiere an occasion to remember. Bring on the couture and cosmos!!

1. Like all good parties, you need to get the word out to your girlfriends and get them pumped up about the movie. I suggest sending them the Sex and the City countdown widget to post on their facebook account.

2. Send elegant invitations for the your Sex and The City premiere event. Think Natasha’s Influential Ladies Luncheon. When you’re a Manhattan socialite evites just won’t do. Carrie didn’t even get e-mail until season 4. What she lacked in computer savvy, she made up in style, so I guess she’s forgiven. Taking the time to purchase, make, and send invitations lends a sense of elegance and exclusivity to your event.

Make sure to let your guests know that cocktail attire is required and to get ready for a night on the town including dinner, drinks, and then… the movie! Pick a location where you can easily go from dinner to the movie without too much travel. The best option is to pick a shopping complex with restaurants, bars, and a megaplex movie theater so you have lots of options on where to eat and bar hop before the movie.

3. Have the girls over for “Sex and the City” night to catch up on episodes and the “story thus far.” If you only have a few hours or have a few SATC virgins, I suggest starting at Season 6 part 1. No, they won’t have the back story on Big and Aidan, but you can give them a quick run down. Once their hooked, you can offer to lend them the DVD set.

Set out some brie and crackers. Don’t forget the wine , champagne, and pretty pink cocktails.

4. GO SHOPPING! Every starlet needs a new dress for a premiere. Going to see the SATC movie is no different. Take fashion inspiration from Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha. Everyone has their favorite style icon and this is a great excuse to take some chances with style!

Also, don’t forget about the shoes. According to Carrie, the higher the better! Now may be the time to invest in some Manolos…

5. Have a great girls night out Sex and the City Style! Gather all your RSVP’d pals and head out. Don’t forget to make reservations at the restaurant before hand so you don’t have a big group of hungry girls standing around in cute party dresses. Samantha won’t wait for a table at even the hottest new restaurant and neither should you! I would also suggest you buy tickets either online the day before or head to the movie theater to pick up tickets just to make sure you get your ideal movie time.

Most of all, have fun with your girlfriends. Sex and the City is all about four best friends that are there for each other through the ups and downs. Take this time to celebrate the close friendships in your life. Enjoy!

It’s almost here! Fans have patiently waited four years for the arrival of the Sex and the City movie, and on May 30th we’ll find out what Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha have been up to. Sex and the City turned Sarah Jessica Parker and her gal pals into modern fashion icons, so what better way to help get you psyched for the movie than taking a look at our favorite looks of the fab four!

Miranda: the intelligent, humorous, and sarcastic lawyer wasn’t much of a fashionista, but always looked beautiful and well put together.

Charlotte: straight out of a 1950’s TV show, cute as a button, and always looked every bit of the perfect lady.

Samantha: the sex kitten, or should I say cougar? Hey, who else can pull off a pink suit?! All I can say is if I look like her when I’m her age, I’ll be a happy camper!

Carrie: the woman with the closet that everyone wants to raid. Carrie wore the outfits that we were all afraid to, and looked fabulous everytime!

So ladies break out those Manolos and don’t forget the Cosmos! Sex and the City hits theaters May 30th!

The self proclaimed ‘Queen of Media’ is yet another celebrity person to create their own clothing line.

Perez Hilton announced plans to create a clothing and accessories line that will be exclusively sold at Hottopic.com.

His line for Hot Topic will feature women’s t-shirts, hoodies, accessories and footwear priced from $1.75 to $46, and will include products like Gossip Gangster Flip Flops, Perezcious Pink and Purple Lip Gloss and P-Nasty Shades. But these are only a few of his creations.

He also plans to sell tote bags, socks and earrings, and says fans will even be able to buy their own Perez Hilton journal, so they can write their own gossip columns.

Hilton has also been known to openly bash other celeb’s lines:

“I keep seeing these lines from the likes of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag that give me nightmares,” he says. “My brand will be very conscious of my audience.”

Well…I guess he has a point about Heidi Montag’s line.

I just hope all his bashing doesn’t backfire if his line doesn’t sell!

Especially if it will sell an outfit like this!

All I can say is what was she thinking!!

Angelina Jolie was spotted at the Beverly Hills eatery Marino Ristorante on Thursday and instead of wearing her signature black she chose to wear a canary-colored sundress. Yellow is definitely not a good color for Angelina. And what is with the poofy straps? What do you think is the better choice for Angelina the yellow dress pictured above or her usual black pictured below?

I think that Angelina should stick with her darker colored clothing.

As you may or may not already have heard Heidi Montag (best known for being ex-bff to Lauren Conrad on “The Hills”) has just released her own fashion line at Anchor Blue called “Heidiwood.” “Welcome to LaLa Land” is Heidiwood’s slogan. Yes, it truly is LaLa land where even F list “celebrities” can put out their own clothing line.

You’re probably curious to see what gems Heidi Montag has “designed.” Here’s a little quick and dirty overview.

Ok, someone blind and uninspired threw this “collection” together. Heidiwood’s line looks like an incomprehensible mess of separates. Her colors are either all over the place, or there’s no color–just black and white. Sure, the purple is fabulous, but how does that relate to the dark teal or the bright turq top? Does she not watch Project Runway?!?!? Nina Garcia would have some harsh words for Heidi if she sent this mish mosh down the runway and called it her “collection.” It really looks like she raided a Macy’s (uh… a plain denim short? a white denim mini skirt?) and slapped a Heidiwood label on it. The “empress” has no clothes (or at least none that I’d like to wear). Not to mention, most of the price points are totally outrageous!!

The screen tee above is priced at $26.95…. Heidi WHO??? I’m sorry, but if I see someone wearing that tee, I’d be tempted to slap them in the face for 1) being a poser and 2) giving Heidi Montag money. Most items start at $26.95 for a tank or a tee and go up to $44.95 for a denim pant. I can see these on a clearance rack already…

Oh, and to make Heidiwood even more hateable, every piece in her line is only carried in size XS-L. Apprently Heidi doesn’t believe in size XL is an appropriate size for her clothes. Apparently it’s not “L.A.” or something… who knows?

Ok, to be truthfully honest, I saw ONE item that is semi- redeeming….

This zebra cocktail ring is slightly fabulous. But THAT’S IT! Everything is “been there, done that, seen it, move on” just like the LA crowd. Enjoy your 15 minutes Heidi… the clock is ticking by quickly and this is most definitely not going to slow it down.

Victoria Beckham’s clothing line is being pulled from Fred Segal and Kitsons due to lack of product sales and promotion.
InTouch magazine reports:

Posh’s DVB denim range is being dropped due to poor sales and a lack of promo work from the Spice Girl herself.  “We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn’t,” said Kitson owner, Fraser Ross.  “Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell.”

This baffles me because what else is Victoria doing with her time?  I mean how hard is it to show up to a couple of events and take a a few pictures to promote your clothing line?  I understand that she has kids, but come on, they’re not taking up all her time.  What do I care?…like I was ever going to buy her clothes anyway.

No one hears host Heidi Klum’s famous one-liner more than the judges sitting next to her on Project Runway. But now it looks like one of the judges actually is out… of a job!

It has been confirmed that Nina Garcia has left Elle magazine. Friday she was given notice to leave her post as fashion director, a position she has held since 2000. Some say she was “let go” but other sources claim that Garcia resigned as Fashion Director of Elle Magazine. Her contract was reportedly up for renewal, which could have been one of the reasons why the higher ups at Elle have said ‘auf Wiedersehen’ to Nina. Since neither Garcia nor anyone from Elle has yet commented on the whole matter, it looks like we will have to wait to see how both camps explain the sudden farewell.

Nina didn’t just fall into the Fashion Director position, she worked hard to get where she is (or should I say, was)! She began in the fashion industry in the decade of big hair and shoulder pads, remembered fondly as the 1980s. She attended Ecole Superieur de la Mode in Paris and the Fashion Institute of Technology. This girl knows her stuff! She also worked in the public relations department for Perry Ellis back when Marc Jacobs was the designer. But working for Marc Jacobs doesn’t make you invincible, as some may think. Then she moved to Mirabella magazine as Assistant Stylist and Market Editor, until taking a position at Elle Magazine. This woman has done it all, and that still doesn’t keep her off the chopping block. At Elle, she worked her way up the ranks until she became Fashion Director in 2000. At Elle, Nina was in charge of around 20 editors and assistants, who worked alongside her to develop articles and layouts featuring new trends in fashion. Her working-class fairytale story is almost too good to be true— I guess we now know that it really is too good to be true seeing that she no longer works for Elle.

Speculation about her departure from Elle has been circulating for months, especially after the arrival of Joe Zee at the beginning of 2007 as creative director. Last spring, Garcia left the magazine on maternity leave, and began writing a monthly fashion column, “Fashionina,” for Elle upon her return. I may wonder if this played a part in her eventual exodus from Elle? Garcia was in the office on Friday morning, but by the afternoon it looked like things had gone ka-put. That sounds like a textbook firing move. Sources close to the building say Hachette’s Midtown offices were abuzz about the rumor of her exit.

This unexpected exit comes at such a successful time in her life, which makes me feel a little sympathetic towards Nina. Her first baby, Lucas Alexander Conrod, just recently turned one in March. Her book, The Little Black Book of Style, hit shelves last September. She is even slated to appear on an episode of Ugly Betty next month along with season four’s Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano. Not everyone can have all the good luck! Let’s just hope for the sake of her reputation that her recent departure from Elle won’t affect future deals with Project Runway. That’s practically the only thing she has left. Only Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn have made it work thus far, and are signed on indefinitely for the fifth season. But there has been no word about Nina and divo fashionista Michael Kors continuing their reign as judges on the program. And to make things even trickier, Runway will be moving from Bravo to Lifetime after the upcoming fifth season. It seems like everything is going wrong for this Señorita.

But does anyone even feel bad for her? Or do you think she got what she deserved from being so mean on all those seasons of Project Runway?
