Just before his 3rd birthday Cruz Beckham upstages the Spice Girls on stage in NY

Posted on 21 February 2008 by Syndeee

Have you seen the video of Cruz Beckham break dancing on stage at the Spice Girl’s concert in New York? It’s adorable and awesome–little Cruz has some serious moves for a 2.9 year old (he turned 3 years old two days after his world stage break dancing debut). (You can see the video in our video section.)

Cruz Beckham

Each of the Spice Girls brought all their little kidlets onto the stage at Madison Square Garden while performing the song, “Mama,” and little Cruz busted away from the group and started break dancing like a pro–he was doing all kinds of little tricks & had serious rhythm & flair!

The Madison Square Garden holds approximately 20,000 guests and the crowd was going absolutely nuts every time he busted a move and it just fueled him on–he’s a gutsy little thing.

Mel B started laughing a bit mid-song and said, “That’s brilliant!” At the end of the song Posh told her son, “That was some great break dancing!”

The next day, Geri, told reporters, “Victoria’s son Cruz was a little star.”

The tour is winding down now, with only 6 shows remaining. Geri said, “…it’s rather like a countdown. I feel a mixture of sadness and joy. I know it is time to come home but I will miss everyone from the tour.”

The Spice Girls decide to call it quites

Posted on 04 February 2008 by tammy

The Spice Girls decide to call it quitesThe Spice Girls thought that coming back for a reunion tour was a good idea, since they were such a big hit like 10 years ago. And it was indeed. The tour ended up becoming one of the most successful reunion tours ever.

Unfortunately, their time together has come to an end, they are breaking up, and canceling the rest of their shows. The group has cited with “family commitments,” but we all know the real reason. Their constant arguing and power struggles.

According to a press report, Mel C and Mel B were the proponents of the break up, telling the other three girls “We’ve had enough.”

A spokesman said: “Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria.

“It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina.

“Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in.

“As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options. Who knows what the future might bring.”

The Spice Girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last three months.

“It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again.

“We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time.

“There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto.

“Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

Victoria Beckham seems to btaking this break the easiest. She told press, “I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry.”
