Lauren Conrad has been all over the news lately between her clothing line drama to whom she is fighting with this week. This time, the news is about her going Greek.

Lauren Conrad will be making a guest appearance, as herself, on the ABC Family series Greek, a show about collage fraternities.

This week, Lauren is on the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, she tells the interviewer she sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night from a nightmare in which she’s “being filmed sleeping.” It looks as though her dream is the inspiration for the magazine’s cover.

Greek creator Sean Smith described LC’s part to Entertainment Weekly:

It’s a dream sequence in which Casey and LC are best friends. Casey has a big decision she has to make, and she’s like, “LC, what do I do? Advise me!”… Casey holds LC in that high esteem.

Although there are no direct Hills references in the script, Smith says the scene has a vibe that definitely calls the unreality show to mind. “There are a lot of ‘likes’ to make it sound more conversational.” And there’s gotta be at least one of The Hills’ trademark dramatic pauses… right? “There isn’t,” Smith laughs, “but that might change now.”

Greek kicks off its second season on Aug. 26 in its new Tuesday time slot at 9pm.

Is Beyonce Knowles the newest member of the guest appearance bandwagon?

Allegedly, Beyonce is trying to land a role on ABC’s Desperate Housewives. Her father/manager, Matthew Knowles, has already arranged for a guest appearance on the show, however according to reports, Matthew is trying to secure a permanent role for Beyonce. A source close to the Knowles family told MediaTakeOut.com,

They’ve already agreed to give Beyonce a cameo appearance. But [we're] hoping that [she] could be written in for a recurring role, or possibly even a permanent one.

There have also been rumors that Nicollette Sheridan, “Edie Britt”, may be leaving Desperate Housewives. So could Beyonce be her replacement? Beyonce will definitely spice up Wisteria Lane and she is probably the only celebrity hot enough to fill “Edie Britt’s” shoes.

Paris Hilton will be making an appearance on the NBC’s hit comedy show ‘My Name is Earl.’ She will play a person in Earl’s (Jason Lee) unconscious mind.

Series creator Greg Garcia states, “When we wrote the role if Paris Hilton in the script, we weren’t exactly sure who to go with for the role. But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton. I can’t wait to see what she does with the role and I can’t wait for America to discover her.”

The episode will be airing on April 3rd.
