What appeared to be a hateful crime against Jon Gosselin, by ex-girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, might have been a publicity stunt by Jon himself.

Hailey’s attorney, Anand Ahuja says, “Somebody is trying to frame my client” and her other attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, told People magazine, “This appears to be a publicity stunt.”

These comments come in response to Jon’s camp alleging that Hailey was the responsible party for ransacking his apartment, slashing his clothing and furniture with a knife, and stealing various items over the Christmas holiday.

The only proof that Jon allegedly has against Hailey is a hand written note that was pinned to a dresser with a butcher knife, but Glassman’s lawyer claims they don’t know anything about a note, telling People, “I don’t know anything about any note and I can’t confirm it at this time.”

Kate Gosselin and her eight children spent Thanksgiving with bodyguard/boyfriend bestfriend Steve Neild and his wife and Jon claimed to be at his Grandmother’s house.

With no other family to spend the holidays with, Kate had Steve and his wife, Ginaand over to her Wernersvill, PA home for a traditional turkey dinner.  Although many hace speculated that Steve and Kate were having an affair, a rumor Jon helped put out there, Kate claims that the couple was her support system throughout the separation and says, “They’re my best friends.”

As for Jon, he spent Thanksgiving without his 8 little ones because it was Kate’s day and claimed he would be spending the holiday with his grandmother.  However, Hailey Glassman is saying that ain’t so.  Hailey posted this on Twitter,

Jon Gosselin joined a sit-down interview for ET with his current girlfriend Hailey Glassman to discuss their current relationship and things got way out of control.

The couple started bickering in front of the reporter and the cameras, eventually leading to what sounded like a decision to break-up, and Jon storming off the set.

Classic.  Can’t these people just go away already?

Hailey Glassman’s exclusive interview with Giuliana Rancic aired last night on E! News.  Although, I think all of us were hoping to find something wrong with her and want to rip her to shreds, the 22 year old was actually quite normal and sweet.

When asked about her dirty past she shrugged it off like it was ancient history that she has moved on and grown up.  She also seemed to genuinely care for Jon Gosselin and wanting the best for him.

She admits that she is not in love with Jon for the fame, it just sorta happened. And unlike the media is portraying it, their romance started a year ago when Jon and Kate were already separated, so technically she is not a homewrecker.

On why she’s speaking out:  Because there’s so many lies and like ridiculous stories circulating.  I love Jon, I’m not some fame whore.  This has been like, a nightmare.

On how she got together with Jon:  I started talking to him in May.  He was just, like, living in my house, the person I joked around with.  He was sad and bored and I was home and bored.

On realizing she was falling for him:  After spending a lot of time with him. He’s just a great guy, he really is…

On their relationship:  It’s very carefree, fun.  We just laugh.  He’s honestly like a 32 year-old guy version of me.  For real.  I really do, I love Jon.  I’ve never been in love before Jon.

On her trip to France with Jon to visit Christian Audiger:  I was hesitant to go to France, because I said “I don’t want my picture taken….” We get there and to this day he apologizes.

On people saying she’s a homewrecker: One part of me says “Obviously I’m not, it’s ridiculous.”  The other part of me says “From what the public sees, because TLC didn’t allow them to come out and say their marriage was done a year ago.”

On when Jon and Kate split:  He did call my mom around December or January and said that, pretty much he was left.

On Kate:  I don’t know Kate, but their kids are really good kids.  I think she’s a great mother, but she’s definitely going for the sympathy card.

On her arrest for drug possession:  It was 2005, and it was for possession of marijuana.  And I do not have a criminal record.  I took a pretrial diversion and I went to a class and it was expunged.

On her partying pictures:  There are so many lies and just ridiculous stories circulating.  How they’re portraying me is not me at all.

On the photos of her putting a gun to her friend’s head:  We had tequila night at my apartment.  My roommate had like a little BB gun.  My friend like took it up and I wasn’t holding it to her head I was like posing with it…

People are profiteering off selling pictures of me from college when I was 18 years old. They don’t fact check…

The people I know who had those pictures.  I was just like ‘why would you sell that?’  My good friends didn’t sell anything and I know my good friends didn’t have those pictures.  People pull up all these pictures of me. Do I regret it? No. Everything happens for a reason.  I lived and I learned.

On rumors that she’s gay: Am I a lesbian, am I bisexual?  No.  I love Jon.  I love my friends, but not in that way.

On smoking weed:  The only thing that is true, did I smoke weed when I was 18 in college?  Yeah.  Sue me.  I don’t smoke weed anymore.  FYI.  I would watch a movie, smoke and get some munchies.  I didn’t smoke alone.

Kate Gosselin was on The Today Show with Meredith Vierra this morning and she broke down in tears once the subject of Jon’s new girlfriend Haylie Glassman was brought up.

For the last couple of weeks we have seen Jon Gosselin hanging around with several different woman, some of whom claim to be romantically involved with the infamous father of 8, but it turns out Jon is single.

Jon, who was at the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jet Field over the weekend, told People,

At this point… I’m single – per se.  I’m just a regular guy who just wants to have friendships and good times.  And I like meeting people.

So what about his recent statements about him and Hailey Glassman “dating,” well now he’s saying their on a break.  Jon said, “She’s always a good friend of mine.  Her family is so good.  They took me in and I lived there for a while.  I love them to death.  She doesn’t like this [craziness].  She loves me for who I am and not for what I do.  We are going to chill out for a while and see where it takes us.  I’m not looking for anyone.”

As for Kate Major, “We are just friends,” Gosselin said.

I reported this morning that Jon Gosselin, the father of 8, had moved on from girlfriend Hailey Glassman to the next whore, Kate Major, but now Jon is saying that isn’t so.

RadarOnline reports:

Meanwhile sources close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that Jon is distraught over Major’s claims that they were romantically involved. He told a close pal that despite her public proclamation, he never slept with her and never was romantically involved with her.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe she did this to me,” he told a source. “What do I do? She’s totally (bleeping) me over?” In a statement released Wednesday night, Major said they were romantically involved. “I didn’t mean it to happen, it just did,” she said. “I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him.”
That statement caused the scandal to explode in national news coverage and, the source said, infuriated Jon.

Michael Lohan, who I am sure is loving his time in the spotlight, has given us more info about what really went down at his place in the Hamptons:

“Kate called me up and said ‘I’m with Jon Gosselin and the media is hounding him and he needs a place to go, and can we come out and stay with you?” Lohan told RadarOnline.com. “I said absolutely. She said, ‘Michael, you have to make sure there’s no paparazzi.’ I said, ‘I’ll get in touch with the Mayor, I’ll call the chief of Police, and we arranged that no one would bother them.
And while Lohan refused to directly answer if Major and Gosselin are dating, when told that Jon had said to a close source the relationship was not romantic, Lohan told RadarOnline.com: “Let me ask you a question: If she was using him why did she resign from the Star?”
“I don’t get involved in Jon’s personal life but I’m not his manager or publicist. I’m just someone who’s trying to help him out, like I’ve been trying to do with my daughter (Lindsay) her entire life.”

When Hailey Glassman was asked about the Jon/Kate affair she told PEOPLE:

“That’s news to me,” Glassman told PEOPLE when she learned that Kate Major, 26, a reporter for Star magazine had confirmed that she and the reality star and father of eight are an item.
Although Glassman knew that Jon and Major were hanging out in the Hamptons together, she didn’t realize the trip may have turned romantic. “I still love Jon and Jon loves me,” a teary Glassman said.

And here’s an update on Kate Major since this morning:

Star Senior Reporter Kate Major resigned this morning, Thursday, July 23, citing a conflict of interest between her reporting duties for the magazine and her relationship with Jon Gosselin.

So we all knew that the Jon Gosselin/ Hailey Glassman relationship wouldn’t last long, but it seems kinda fishy that the moment that the two confess their love to the public they break-up.

I really don’t understand what Jon is trying to prove. We all know that he was married to the wicked witch for far too long, you would think that now that he’s single he would embrace the single life but apparently the dude does not know how to be away from the ladies.

Rumors are flying that Jon has dumped young, naive Hailey for STAR reporter Kate Major. The two were first spotted on Saturday night having a dinner date in New York. Since than the two planned a three day trip to the Hamptons, staying with Michael Lohan, and meeting up with friends Real Housewives of NY star Jill Zarin, and the mayor of Southhampton.

“I think they are watching the Jon & Kate,” Lohan told E! “Kate has been like a daughter and…Jon and her are good friends. When they needed a place to relax, I opened my door.”

“Jon is a great guy. All he does is to talk about his kids,” Lohan says, adding that Major “only has his best interests at heart.”

It’s a stunning turn of events that even Star couldn’t see coming, father-of-eight Jon Gosselin and one of our reporters have fallen for each other.

Kate Major confirmed tonight that she and the Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad are an item, five days after they were first photographed together.

“I didn’t mean it to happen, it just did,” Kate, 26, says. “I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him.”

The surprise news means that Jon, 32, and his girlfriend Hailey Glassman, daughter of his wife’s plastic surgeon, are over.

Tonight Jon and his new Kate went for dinner in East Hampton with Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael — a long-time friend of Kate’s.

Weeks ago Jon and Kate publicly stated, “During this very difficult time we will be working to focus solely on the needs of our family. This includes no longer commenting publicly or reacting to media stories and speculation.”

Well, well well. I call bull-s**t. Jon has just recently opened up to People about his relationship with 22-year-old Hailey Glassman.

“Hailey and I have been family friends for several years and only very recently began dating,”  Jon explains. “What began as friendship has grown into something more.” He goes on:

“I genuinely enjoy spending time with her. It’s nice to be with someone who I can confide in and trust and who accepts me for who I am.”

“I know that my decision to appear publicly with Hailey this weekend will be scrutinized, but I hope that people can see I’m a regular guy who is going through a very difficult time in [my] life and wants to move forward.”

You know what would make this news more fun? Engagement rumors, and InTouch Weekly has done just that.

According to the magazine, an inside snitch says, “Jon has been telling everyone that he loves her and she loves him, so why waste time?”

He presented her with a $180,000 engagement ring designed by Edouard Nahum during their St. Tropez getaway just three days ago. The ring  features a skull surrounded by four black diamonds.

The snitch adds, “They started dating two months ago and they both just knew the other was the one instantly. They all went out to the VIP Room nightclub in St. Tropez after dinner. Hailey was flashing her ring around and they were kissing and hugging.”
