After officials from Health Green Hospital confirmed Barbro Holmberg, Elin Nordegren’s mother, was taken and released from the hospital, TMZ has obtained a copy of the frantic 911 call that put Holmberg in the hospital in the first place.
Holmberg complained of stomach pains and left the hospital in a wheelchair. Tiger Woods was no where in site.
The Smiths former lead singer, Steven Morrissey, was taken to the ER on Saturday, October 24th for breathing difficulties after he collapsed on stage.
The singer collapsed during a performance in Swindon, England and had to be carried off stage by two crew members. 25 minutes after the collapse the audience was told that Morrissey left the concert to receive treatment and “Everybody started booing, thinking ‘here we go again.’ He has a bit of a poor track record for cancelling his concerts,” said concertgoer Mark Taylor.
On Sunday a spokesperson for the hospital announced that Morrissey is in stable condition.
Cate Blanchett was injured last night while performing on stage in Australia.
According to the Associate Press, Cate was in the middle of acting in A Streetcar Name Desire when a prop radio fell on her head. Blood started streaming down her back. It was so bad that the rest of the show was cancelled. The Theater spokesman said in a statement, “There was a minor incident on stage that unfortunately did injure Cate.”
He also denied reports the prop was thrown at her. He said, “That is not correct. There is no point in the show in which the radio is thrown at her. There was a moment when another actor lifted the prop above his head and she somehow sustained a minor blow to the head.”
Cate is a real trooper because she is expected back on stage tonight. We’re glad she’s OK!
This is so sad, Brody Jenner had to spend his 26th birthday in the hospital.
The Hills star suffered from a case of appendicitis and had to have his appendix removed. Brody tweeted,
Spending my bday in the hospital…. This sucks. Thank you all for the kind words…. Got my lady with me so I will be ok… She is taking good care of me love her.
Despite just having surgery, Brody remained optimistic and later tweeted,
My lady and I chilling post op… she is the best nurse ever! It’s been a long two days.
Still in the hospital.. Hope I get out today!!! :)
It sucks to spend your birthday sick and in the hospital, but I’m sure he’ll make up for it with a huge b-day bash once he recovers.
Aerosmith’s vocalist, Steven Tyler, fell off the stage during his performance of “Love in an Elevator” at the Sturgis Motorclycle Rally in Rapid City, South Dakota last night. Steven was rocking out dancing all over the stage with his mic stand when he stepped backward off the stage and landed on a couple of fans.
The Associated Press says that Steven suffered minor head, neck and shoulder injuries. He was immediately airlifted to the hospital to be examined by an on-site doctor. Joe Perry told the audience that Tyler was being taken to the hospital and that the show would not go on.
A rep for the Buffalo Chip Campground, where the concert was held, said that Steven was all jokes and laughter about the situation.
“He was good natured about it,” Sanborn said. “He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter. He was talking and joking with the physician.”
The rep adds, “He does a lot of dancing on the stage and he does a lot of stuff with his mike [sic] stand. He put his stand down and twirled around and stepped backwards off the stage. It was an unfortunate end to an extraordinary evening.”
It seems that Aerosmith has had a stream of bad luck lately. Last month, they had to cancel a bunch of shows because Steven hurt his leg while jumping on stage; their bassist, Tom Hamilton, had to get a non-evasive surgery and was temporarily replaced by David Hall for part of the tour, and Joe Perry had knee surgery back in March.
Come on boys, keep it together. Man it sucks getting old.
According to TMZ.com, Octomom Nayda Sulemen’s 2 year old son was rushed to the hospital yesterday, July 17th.

I’m sure child services is going to love this story. What do you think?
UPDATE: No need to worry folks. Tom Green is actually doing fine. Tom’s website, Tomgreen.com, was hacked into and the car accident story was 100% made up.
Here is what Tom wrote on his blog this morning:
Tom Green is in serious condition at Golden State Regional Hospital, after being involved in a minor car accident but a horrible beat down.
The actor was driving his Mercedez in Fullerton, CA when his car collided with a pickup truck.
If that wasn’t scary enough, three men from the pickup truck jumped out of the car and dragged Green from his vehicle and proceeded to beat him up before fleeing the scene.
A witness said, “He didn’t have a chance against these men who attacked him before he said a single word to them.”
He was reportedly unresponsive when paramedics arrived.
We all need to say a prayer for Tom to pull through this.
TMZ reports that Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital earlier today because she got injured on the set of her new movie, Salt.
According to her manager, Angie got nicked between the eyes while performing a stunt and started bleeding.
Angie’s manager claims that the actress is alright and has since returned to the set to finish tapping.
Sony, the studio behind Salt, issued the following statement: “This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie Salt, Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”
This is the type of accident that you hope as a parent never happens to your child.
Mike Tyson’s 4 year old daughter Exodus, accidentally hung herself on a treadmill cord and now she is on life support and in critical condition.
Tyson’s 7 year old is the one who found his baby little sister tangled up in the cords.
The mother sent the boy to find the 4-year-old girl who was playing in a separate room. The boy found his sister in distress and got his mother, police said.
“Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console — it’s kind of a loop,” Hill said. “Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.”
The girl’s mother took her daughter off the cable, called 911 and attempted to revive her.
Tyson flew home from Las Vegas as soon as he got the call. He hasn’t made a statement yet.
“The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time,” the boxer’s rep said in a statement.
Our thoughts and prayers are going out to Tyson’s little girl and the rest of the family.
