Earlier this morning, during her concert in Sydney, Australia, Rihanna passed out on stage while singing her hit song “Umbrella” with her boyfriend Chris Brown. She apparently just got done flying around in a harness.

When you watch the video you can see Rihanna grab her stomach and bolt off stage, where the paramedics helped her immediately. Chris continued to finish singing the song, then rushed backstage to Rihanna’s side.

I hope she’s all right. The media is sure to say that it was due to “dehydration” or something. We wish her the best of luck for a fast recovery.

In this weeks issue of USmagazine, the notoriously evil, Sam Lutfi, opens up to the magazine about how he used to medicate the singer, about her bipolar disorder, what happened the second time she was hospitalized, and her parents reaction.

“In the depressive episodes, it’s all crying,” Lutfi tells Us. “But in the manic episode, there’s very little crying or sympathy or compassion. She becomes another person. She becomes somebody that just doesn’t care about anybody or anything.”

“The British accent is part of the mania,” he adds. “She’ll stick to the British accent because she becomes comfortable with it… But you know, when the pink wig comes on, it’s getting bad.”

According to Lutfi, when Britney was admitted to UCLA Medical Center the second time on January 31, she was having a fight with her a parents and yelled, “Well, he is better family than you guys will ever be.”

Lutfi tells Usthat he gave Britney “a handful of pills” before her parents arrived. “I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills,” he recalls. Spears, Lutfi says, agreed that the meds were helping her sleep.

(In their restraining order against Lutfi filed yesterday, Spears’ parents accuse him of drugging their daughter and being verbally abusive. Jamie, who has been named as his daughter’s conservator, “is doing what he has to do to save Britney,” a source tells Us.)

Spears is one of nearly six million American adults suffering from bipolar disorder, a mental illness consisting of extreme shifts in mood, thought, energy, and behavior patterns.

When the ambulance arrived to take Spears, “she was very quiet,” Lutfi tells Us.

“When I told her, she wrote me a note and put a big heart on it and it said, ‘I love you, Sam. Are there people coming? Circle yes or no,’” Lutfi recalls. “Oh, my God, it was funny, just the cutest little thing. I circled yes and I gave it back to her, and she looked at me and she’s like, ‘Oh, lord, here we go again.”

Attorneys are fighting on Spears’ behalf to take conservatorship away from Jamie. Having Jamie in control of her estate and medical decisions is a worst-case scenario for Spears, sources tell Us.

Here is the latest news in the whole Britney drama.

First, On Friday, Jamie Spears, Brit’s dad, was sceduled for a court hearing. The judge gave him temporary conservatorship over Brit until a hearing that would take place sometime today.This means that Jamie will be able to restrict visitors to his daughter, employ security guards to protect her, control Brit’s finances, change the locks on her home and kick out anyone currently living there. In addition, the court also reportedly granted Jamie and Lynne Spears the right to prosecute a restraining order against Spears’s friend Sam Lutfi, who has been embroiled in a struggle with the Spears family for control of the singer for the past week. Thank the Lord.

Second, Britney is under 14 day psych hold. While we think yes, she finally is getting some real help. She apparently is furious and is upset that her father has temporary conservatorship over her life.

Only her psychiatrist would’ve had the authority to request the involuntary stay. However, it’s possible the singer could be out earlier if she legally demands to be released or her doctor deems her well enough for outpatient treatment.

Lastly, apparently Britney’s house got robbed while she’s been in the hospital. The LA police department was called Friday night to Spears’ Beverly Hills home after her parents discovered that some of her possessions were missing.

The source says Spears’ father Jamie and mother Lynne were “shocked” to find that the valuable items “had been stolen” after they returned to the house following yesterday’s emergency hearing where Jamie won legal control over his daughter.

They then called police and filed a report.

Spears’ parents believe that the items were stolen after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.

Officer Alex Martinez says “The report is being processed through our system. We do not have access to it.”

Britney was rushed to UCLA Medical Center at 1am this morning, escorted by a small army of police on motorcycles, cruisers and helicopters.

The Los Angeles Times reported the 26-year-old was removed from her home and placed on a “mental health evaluation hold.” Brit’s psychiatrist prompted the call for her to be taken away for evaluation because she was alarmed by the singer’s recent reckless driving and conduct and decided that another 5150 hold was necessary. TMZ reported that the plan to hospitalize Spears had been launched days ago and was abandoned at the last minute on Wednesday, then put into place early Thursday and was so intricate that the Federal Aviation Administration had to be contacted to clear airspace on the route to the hospital. Several outlets are reporting that Spears went calmly, and had not slept for three days; she was videotaped purchasing a case of an energy drink earlier this week, and was photographed nodding off in her car.

Sam Lutfi told LA Times that Brit wanted to go to the hospital. “She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong,” Lutfi said.

Brit was there under 5150 yet again, meaning an individual who is considered by a medical professional to be a danger to herself or others can be involuntarily committed to a mental institution by her family or even friends. A 5150 hold translates into 72 hours in a locked mental institution and must be approved by trained professionals like a psychiatrist or a nurse.

Early in the evening, Britney’s parents seemed to have a had a fight with Lutfi saying that they wanted him out of her life forever. TMZ website reported that Jamie Spears is infuriated with Lutfi’s involvement and has accused him of “trying to control his daughter’s mind.”
