Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe, was hospitalized in New York after suffering from a severe case of stomach poisoning.

It’s being reported that Daniel spent two days in the hospital, where he was treated for stomach poisoning and dehydration, before boarding a plane to flying back London.

A fellow passenger on the plane said,

He looked as white as a sheet.  He said he felt like he was going to die and had spent most of his time on the toilet.

I couldn’t imagine being sick on a plane and having to use a teeny public restroom.  That must have been the longest flight of his life!

Comedian Artie Lange has been hospitalized at a New Jersey hospital.

Artie’s publicist released a statement saying,

We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital.  Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor.  There will be no further comment.

Artie is known for being Howard Stern’s sidekick and for his substance abuse issues.  He lost his license for 7 months for DUI after pleading guilty to driving while under the influence of Restoril.

Maybe this will be a good wake-up call for Artie and he’ll get the help he needs.

Alexa Ray Joel was released from the hospital today, December 6th.

Alexa was hospitalized yesterday after trying to overdose on sleeping pills.  Billy Joel didn’t visit his daughter at the hospital, but chose to stay at his home in Oyster Bay, Long Island instead.  However he did release a statement saying, “She is going to be fine.”

Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of musician, Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley has been hospitalized after a failed suicide attempt on Saturday, December 5th.

According to reports, Alexa tried to overdose on sleeping pills and was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan after an unidentified female called 911.

Alexa’s rep stated,

Alexa is stable.  Her doctors are assessing her needs and that’s all we can say at this moment.

Sources say she is conscious and expected to survive.

David Hasselhoff was rushed to the hospital on Friday, November 27th, after suffering a seizure.

David’s neighbor, Christian, stated,

I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he’d  had a seizure.

This isn’t the first time this has happened to him.

David is currently on anti-seizure medications, but reports show that he had been drinking, which may have compromised the effectiveness of the medication.

I hope everything will be alright.  David really needs to stop drinking.  What do you think?

Nicole Richie has been hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with pneumonia.

Nicole has been sick for about a week now, but denied reports of suffering from the swine flu and on Sunday she tweeted, “ok cold, it’s been 6 days.  Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving.”

Her rep made a statement on Wednesday, November 18th, saying Nicole is “doing well.”

OMG! Amy Winehouse spent Sunday night, November 15th, in the hospital after mixing over-the-counter drugs with her prescription drugs.

According to a source,

Amy took over-the-counter stuff for a cold but it didn’t agree with medication she takes for her on-going recovery…. A doctor came to the house and advised her to go the hospital to make sure she was all right.  She was due to stay the night.

Amy is expected to make a full recovery.

David Hasselhoff was taken to the hospital and treated for alcohol poisoning on Sunday, September 20th.

The star was reportedly found extremely intoxicated by his 17 year old daughter, Hayley, at his home in Encino, California.  Hayley called her mother, Pamela Bach, who called 911.  Paramedics arrived around 3:24 pm and Hasselhoff was taken to the hospital.

This isn’t the first time that David has be overly intoxicated, he just recently had a similar incident in May 2009.  David’s rep had no comment.

San Diego Charger’s LB, Shawne Merriman, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with battery and false imprisonment.

The NFL star allegedly choked, TV personality Tila Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, and held her against her will.  Sherriff’s Lt. Gary Steadman told People magazine, “[Nguyen] made a citizen’s arrest.”  Tila was taken to Pomerado Hospital but her condition is still unknown.  Merriman however, is denying these allegations and his lawyer, Todd Macaluso stated,

At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her;  at no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will.

Merriman and Tequila had just ended an evening of fun at Stingaree’s, a San Diego nightclub and officials at the club said,

Merriman and Tequila stayed until closing in the early hours of Sunday morning.  They seemed in good spirits throughout the evening and were enjoying themselves.  There was no outward indication of any problem between the two of them.

Well, if Merriman didn’t touch her I hope he can prove it because the fall out from an incident like this is huge.  Legally he’d probably just get a slap on the wrist like Chris Brown after he beat Rihanna, but career wise, it could be devastating.

Mark Wahlberg was rushed to the hospital Friday morning after suffering smoke inhalation on the set of his new movie Fighter.

A source tells Radar, “Mark was working on a scene where a smoke machine was being used for atmosphere and apparently he breathed in too much smoke.”

“When he woke up Friday morning he was gasping for breath so he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was put on a breathing device that helped clear his lungs.”

Mark was released from the hospital on Friday and like a true champ returned to the movie set.
