In the WWE Universe, anything can happen, so maybe it shouldn’t be a surprise that the fiance of Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson could possibly be the future of the WWE.

A few days ago in Santa Monica, Hollywire had the opportunity to talk to WWE NXT star David Otunga. Some may know him as “Punk” from his days on the reality show, I Love New York 2, or as mentioned earlier, the fiance of Jennifer Hudson. But after a few minutes with him, he should actually be recognized as a Harvard educated loving father who is deeply in love with his future wife and has an amazing future ahead of him. Both in and out of the ring.

When talk geared towards his Hollywood lifestyle that includes the parties, the magazine covers and the red carpets, he approached things without ego, but more with self assurance. He never made you feel below him.  With that charisma, the WWE rookie is taking his opportunity to become a major superstar even though he is only a year into his training.  He is aware he has plenty to learn, but looks forward to the opportunities he has and will receive.

With crazy schedules for both, wedding plans are going well.  The couple will be married “very soon,” but no specific date was given. Jennifer’s has been keeping busy with wedding arrangements and trying to keep the plans secret.

In the meantime, Jennifer Hudson has been rumored to sing the national anthem at Wrestlemania 26 on March 28th, David has talked to her about it, and she is totally up for it. But nothing is definite; she would actually like to sing on a show that David Otunga is in the main events.

Jennifer Hudson and her fiance David Otunga welcomed their new son David Otunga Jr. seven weeks ago on August 10. The latest issue of PEOPLE, which hits newsstands tomorrow, features a photo spread of the couple and their new little baby.

On not sharing with the world that she was pregnant: “David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant

, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.

On recovery after having a c-section: “Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By that night after I had the baby, I’m like, ‘Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’ I’ve been up and about since he was born. To me, the pain is no different than when you work out a muscle you’ve never worked out before and it’s sore.”

On Jr.’s personality: “He has a lot of personality, like David. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favorite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants.”

On if she would support Jr. if he wanted a career in show business: “We’ll definitely encourage education. His father is an education fanatic so we definitely want him to get an education and go to school. My mom always said, ‘Whatever you want to do, I’ll support you as long as you’re happy.’ So I will do the same.”

American Idol’s, Jennifer Hudson gave birth to a healthy baby boy yesterday, August 10th.

David Daniel Otunga Jr. weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces.  A source close to the couple said, “Jennifer and David Sr., by the way, did not know the sex of the baby in advance.  They bought blue and pink clothes, just in case!”

A young boy’s body was found this morning in the back of a white Chevy Suburban in Chicago.  It’s believed to be the body of 7-year-old Julian King, Jennifer Hudson’s nephew, although examiners are still working on confirmation of the identity.  Julian has been missing since Friday;  this morning someone placed a phone call to police about a suspicious auto.  Police arrived on the west side of Chicago at about 7 a.m. and discovered the body.

Our hearts go out to the Hudson family, who have had a devastating and forever life-altering weekend.

Hudson lost her mother and brother to homicide on Friday–their bodies were found gunned down in their Chicago home; upon this discovery, the family then learned of Julian’s disappearance.  Hudson and her sister, Julian’s mom, we’re hoping for the best outcome with Julian–pleading on news networks for his safe return and offering a $100,000 reward.

It saddens me to a great degree that the murderer did not spare the child’s life.  When this story was first breaking on Friday, I was hoping it was another one of those horrible death rumors that had been circulated in the media like with Miley, Oprah, and Lil Wayne’s daughter.  The blow was devastating enough when it became known that the double murders of her mother and brother we’re true; but, now to also learn that she has lost her nephew is beyond devastating.  I don’t know how people get through tragedies of this enorminity.  Hopefully Jennifer and her sister, Julia, can find some degree of comfort and solace from their remaining family and friends.

Jennifer Hudson and her family are offering a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her 7 year old nephew, Julian King.  Julian went missing on Friday, October 24th, after his grandmother (Hudson’s mom), who was watching him while his mother was at work, and his uncle (Hudson’s brother) were fatally shot.

Hudson’s rep Lisa Kasteler stated,

Jennifer Hudson and her family are offering a reward of $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew Julian King who has been missing since Friday, October 24th.  We ask that all inquiries be directed to the Chicago Police Department, Area 1 Detective Division at 312/747-8380.  Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue to search for Julian.

The FBI has also been called in to assist in the search for Julian.

According to her publicist and the authorities, the mother and brother of American Idol contestant and Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson have been found dead in their Chicago home.

Neighbors of Hudson’s family reported hearing gunshots between 8:00 or 9:00 am on Friday morning; however, it wasn’t until Hudson’s sister Julia returned home from work around 3:00 pm that the bodies were discovered.

Darnell Donnerson, Hudson’s 57-year-old mother, died from a gunshot to the head and her 29-year-old brother, Jason Hudson, was shot in the chest, according to Cook County examiners.

Julia Hudson has also reported that her 7-year-old son, Hudson’s nephew, is missing.  It is believed that Hudson’s nephew was taken by William Balfour, Julia Hudson’s estranged husband who is also suspected to be the murderer.  Balfour was taken into custody late Friday night, but is refusing to cooperate with police on the whereabouts of Julia’s 7-year-old son.
