Fashion Week is in full swing, and one rocker turned designer, Pete Wentz, blew the crowd away at his fashion show for Fashion Week in NYC. The guest list included wife Ashlee Simpson and the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ among others.  Pete’s fashion show also had a live performance by the band ‘Bad Rabbit’ and hip hop artist Shiddy BangBang (new artist on Pete’s label Crush).

Then after the show ended and long after Pete debuted this infamous outfit, the stylish crowd including Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson, Nicole Richie, and Joel Madden made their way downtown to the posh ‘Andaz Hotel’ for Pete Wentz’s Clandestine Industries after party. The close knit crowd then celebrated the Richie/Madden wedding announcement with TY KU Sake!! The party didn’t end there, the group kept the celebration going by kicking it over to New York’s newest hotspot Red Velvet where Ex-Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon sipped on soju and ate cupcakes! Yum!

Adrienne was also spotted earlier in the night, in the front rows of the Walter fashion show.  The prime front row real estate were packed with members of MTV’s ‘The City,’ including Samantha Swetra and Erin Lucas, and ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey.’ Designer Walter was gifted the drink of the night, TY KU White Ultra Premium Sake, following the show, and was heard gushing over having “the best sake in the world.”

Nicole Richie has confirmed her engagement to Joel Madden.

The news was confirmed at Monday’s taping of the Late Show with David Letterman, which will air on Friday, February 19th.

Here’s how the confirmation went down:

David Letterman: “You’re not married yet, is that correct?

Nicole Richie: “We’re not married.”

DL: “Are you engaged?  Are you planning to get married?”

NR: “We actually recently are engaged, yes.”

DL: “Oh, congratulations, that’s nice.  A lot of people will have children and then they don’t want to rush into the marriage — you know, they wait ’til the kids get out of college, then they get married.”

Joel Madden also confirmed the news on Twitter, saying, “Yep, i’m engaged.  Very happy.”

Rumor is, Nicole and Joel will wed this summer and “she’s thrilled.”

Nicole Richie showed off her darker hair and more curvy figure yesterday, December 13th as she promoted her new jewelry line, House of Harlow.

Nicole looked fabulous in her strapless white form fitting dress and silver Louboutin heels.  She was launching House of Harlow, a 1960’s based jewelry collection, at Bloomingdale’s at South Coast Plaza, in Costa Mesa, California.

Richie tweeted, “Whew! That was fun.  Thanks to everyone who came out today in this terrible weather to hang out with me!  I wouldn’t have.”

Soon-to-be mommy, Kendra Wilkinson, is putting her Playboy party girl ways behind her and prepping for motherhood.   The former playmate is looking up to none other than former bad-girl Nicole Richie for inspiration.

Of Richie, Kendra says:

“I look up to Nicole… She is the girl that I mostly look up to because she is more like me. She gives me the feeling of, ‘She did it and I can do it.’ She makes me feel good about what she’s accomplished.”

Kendra and hubby Hank’s baby, Hank Baskett IV, is due in December.

As if she doesn’t have enough on her plate, Nicole Richie is launching a new contemporary woman & baby clothing line called Winter Kate this Spring!

Winter Kate, which is named after her daughter Harlow’s middle name, will include 37 new pieces and will be available at major department stores!  Think: long dresses, trendy vests & jackets, and some chiffon tops.  How exciting!

Prior to Winter Kate, Richie launched her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960 and a maternity collection for Pea in the Pod.

Of the new line, Nicole said:

“Fashion should be accessible. That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter.”

Nicole Richie debuts six-week-old baby Sparrow James Midnight Madden on the cover of People magazine this week!

Nicole Richie and her longtime beau, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, welcomed their second child into the world in September.  The couple also have a 2-year-old daughter together, Harlow.

Of her family, Richie says

“I couldn’t be happier.”  ”The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I’m right where I belong.”

The new issue of People hits stands on Friday, and will feature a spread with the entire Richie-Madden family!

According to Radaronline, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are married!

A source told Radaronline that Nicole and Joel were married on Wednesday, October 14th in a top secret ceremony.  Radaronline called her rep, but no confirmation of a marriage has been made.
