In honor of Zac Efron’s new movie, Me & Orson Wells, HOLLYWIRE has compiled a list of facts that you never would have known about the young (and HOTT) actor!

1.  Zac claims his first LOVE was Tyra Banks! He had a poster of the supermodel in a purple bathing suit taped on his bedroom ceiling when he was a boy.

2.  Reportedly, he turned down a record deal from Simon Cowell!  Zac told Cowell:  “Acting is my main priority.”

3.  Zac was nominated for a Young Artist Award For Best Performance in a Television Movie, Mini Series or Special in 2006 for his supporting role in Lifetime’s original movie, Miracle Run.

4.  Zac’s first KISS was in 5th grade!  In a ‘tree-fort’ during a game of Truth or Dare!

5.  His biggest celebrity CRUSHES include:  Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, Summerland co-star Lori Loughlin and Jessica Alba.

6.  Zac began taking formal singing lessons at the young age of eleven.

7.  His favorite cereal is Honey Nut Cheerios!  Yum!

8.  One of  Zac’s first roles was on the hit show, ER.  Sadly, his character died on the operating table!

9.  When Zac was in 6th grade, he bought himself an electric scooter!  Consequently, this bankrupted him — he had used all of his savings!

10. Zac’s favorite movie of all times is The Goonies!
