Lady GaGa Requires Emergency Medical Attention

Posted on 15 January 2010 by Loretta

Lady-GaGaLady GaGa was forced to cancel her Purdue University performance after falling ill.

The singer called the paramedics because she was feeling dizzy and was having trouble breathing.  Lady GaGa says,

I’ve been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down 2nite.  An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing.

Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular – a result of exhaustion and dehydration.

can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am.  I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage.

My stage has complicated mechanical elements, everyone was concerned I’d be in danger during the 2hr show, since I had passed out earlier.

I am so devastated.  I have performed with the flu, a cold, strep throat:  I would never cancel a show just based on discomfort.

I hope you can forgive me.  I love my little monsters more than anything, you are everything to me.  I will make-up the performance on Jan 26.

It’s a huge let down to go to a concert and the main act not show up, but what can we say, she was sick.  Plus she promised a make-up performance.

What do you think?

Update: Mischa Barton has been placed under involuntary psychiatric hold, also known as 5150!!! Remind you of anyone who had the same problem over a year ago? If you’re thinking of Britney Spears, you guessed right!

She’s currently in Cedars-Sinai. We wish you the best!

Mischa Barton was removed from her house last night after the LAPD responded to a 911 call for a medical emergency.

Sources say the Mischa called the police herself after she was having a ‘freak out.’ Officer April Harding says they did respond to a call at Mischa’s house and took care of the situation.

“We responded to her home last night on a medical issue. We assisted with it. She was removed from her home.”

There is no word as to were she was taken or why.
