Verne Troyer (aka Mini-Me) is suing TMZ for $20 million for releasing a clip of his sex tape.
Troyer claims that the video was stolen and some how ended up in the hands of Kevin Blatt. Blatt, the same man responsible for releasing Paris Hilton’s sex tape, was reportedly trying to sell Troyer’s tape for $100k and is named as a co-defendant in the lawsuit.
Verne Troyer was granted an injunction that bars any further distribution of the video to prevent TMZ from showing anymore clips. Troyer claims that the video will cause “irreparable harm to his reputation” and his publicist, Melissa Bergera, says that, “Mr. Troyer is extremely distraught by the recent exploitation of his private life.” A federal judge has also issued a temporary restraining order against TMZ, causing them to remove the sex tape clip from their website.
It’s a good thing that the judge issued an injunction, I think that anyone who watched the full tape would have been scarred for life.
