Meow!  Pop Star Nelly Furtado slams Pop QUEEN, Madonna, in a recent interview!

Nelly bashes Madonna’s brutal exercise schedule and plastic surgery tendencies, saying:

“I am not ready to adjust physically, just to be marketable. My sell-by date will run out eventually.”

Nelly and her husband, Demacio Castellon, take as much time to lead a normal life as possible — given the circumstances.  The couple takes care of Furtado’s daughter (from a previous relationship), Nevis, and partake in family activities!  The ‘I’m Like a Bird’ and ‘Maneater‘ singer, added:

“Unlike Madonna, I wouldn’t be willing to do Pilates round the clock, just to slow down the deterioration of my body.  I prefer to sit in the kitchen, drink tea and eat biscuits.  After the tour I was terribly exhausted and had to find a way back to a healthy routine. I cooked chicken soup for my family and just enjoyed everyday life. The small things that make you happy are important to me.”

Nelly Furtado is sparking rumors that she secretly got married to Cuban sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon. Rumors started flying on Saturday at Miami’s Y100 Jingle Ball, when she was spotted wearing a gold wedding band on her ring finger, below her diamond engagement ring.

A source is quoted as saying: “Nelly was partying backstage with Natasha Bedingfield and Timbaland. She was so happy and there was no missing the gold band on her finger.

“Natasha took her hand and looked at it and then hugged her and whispered something in her ear. It looked like she was congratulating her.”

Nelly, 29, enjoyed letting down her newly-dyed blonde hair backstage after performing at the BankAtlantic Center to a packed house.
