Kate Gosselin went to work at a Raleigh, North Carolina diner today, December 8th.

The reality star and mom of 8 served up grits and pancakes at Finch’s Restaurant as camera crews had their camera’s rolling.  It’s being reported that they were shooting a “test segment” for a new show.

No other details have been given at this time.  I wonder what the show will be.

Nicole Richie has announced that she has a TV comedy in the works.

Nicole is not just the star of the show she is also the creator.  On her official website, Nicole stated,

I am so excited to announce that I am officially working on a television project!  I am creating a half hour scripted comedy for ABC in which I will be starring in, as well as producing.

The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance business and family relationships.  She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.

Lately, I have been surrounded by many different women of all ages and walks of life.  It amazes me to watch and observe how many different ideas there are about what a woman’s role should be in this era.  I’ve taken these fascinating ideas, and compiled them into something that I think will be very special (and funny!).  We’re still in the very early stages and I can’t wait to share more with you soon!

The CW has released four new promo pics for it’s new fall drama produced by Ashton Kutcher, The Beautiful Life, and they’re just a TAD racy!

The posters feature the show’s stars: Sara Paxton, Ben Hollingsworth, Ashley Madekwe, and High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu who is clearly trying to shed his Disney-ified image!

(Curiously missing from the pics is Mischa Barton who also stars in the show…Hmm…wonder if this has anything to do with her being a straight up hot mess lately and landing herself in the psych ward?)

The creators of this show are so riding on Twilight’s coattail. I mean the CW’s The Vampire Diaries even looks like it kinda has the same premise; gorgeous vampire lusts for average looking human girl doing anything in his power to protect her.

Ok there’s more than that. The Vampire Diaries, based on the early ’90s young-adult novels by L.J. Smith, is the story of Elena (Nina Dobrev) who is torn between a pair of vampire brothers, the tortured and well-meaning Stefan (Paul Wesley) and the devilish Damon (Somerhalder).

I’m not complaining because for us Twilight fans I’m hoping this show will give us the vampire fix we need while we wait for New Moon to be released (Nov. 20) and the other Twilight sequels to be made.
