Star magazine is reporting that Nicole Richie is furious with Joel Madden because he was caught flirting with Lindsay Lohan.

When this picture was taken, Nicole was at home with baby Harlow, frantically trying to get a hold of her man on his cell. However, Joel wasn’t answering his phone and now we see why, because he was too busy making eyes with sleazy Lindsay.  Star reports:

“The Good Charlotte rocker seemed more interested in a seductive Lindsay than in spinning records.”

“Their heads were practically touching, and he had his leg over hers,” says one onlooker. “Joel has a flirtatious side, and he definitely wasn’t turning her away.”
Making the situation worse, Nicole frantically tried to call Joel, but he wasn’t answering his phone.”

“He was so zeroed in on Lindsay, he never heard his cell ring,” a friend of the couple tells Star. “Nicole felt so incredibly helpless and upset that she threw her phone against the wall in a rage.”

After seeing the incriminating photograph splashed all across the web, Richie sent out a harsh warning to LiLo telling her to “keep her hands off” her man.

The happy family of Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and their baby Harlow Winter Kate are all in the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The photo shoot took place at their home in Glendale, California. Nicole’s dad, Lionel Richie, was also on hand and ended up in a few of the photos.

Little Harlow really hasn’t been in the public eye since her birth four months ago; which is good, I think it should be that way!

And it’s nice to find out that the proud parents didn’t do this photoshoot for money- they didn’t even get paid to show off their little girl!

All the pictures turned out so good too. They really are an adorable family!

A police report was filed in Hollywood today against Benji Madden for a hit and run accident. The accident happened last night as Benji and Paris left the Hollywood nightclub Foxtail. The couple’s car was immediatly swarmed by paparazzi and Benji ran over one paparazzo’s foot. The paparazzo let out a loud scream and Benji stopped briefly to check it out, then took off. It is uncertain if Benji or Paris even know of the police report yet. I think that Benji and Paris are the victims here. It is hard enough to avoid accident in normal driving conditions let alone having your car swarmed by paparazzi flashing bright lights in your face. If you are stupid enough to stick your foot under a moving car you deserve to be ran over. Benji should not be held accountable for this accident.

Everyday we hear about celebrities breaking the law and getting away with it. It appears that the justice system caters to the Hollywood elite, giving them sentences equivalent to a slap on the hand. And, its not just the judges going easy on them, so do the local police and the IRS. Access Hollywood recently did a report on the Top 10 Celebrities with tax troubles. They named 10 celebs, their crime, and their punishment. Here are a couple of stories that show the power of stardom and the disparity among fairness in the legal system for those that are not so famous: Marc Anthony: Failed to file tax returns from 2000-2004 for which he earned $15.5 million. No charges were filed against Anthony personally; however, two of his associates pleaded guilty to tax felonies. Anthony was ordered to pay $2.4 million in back taxes. Wesley Snipes: Failed to file a tax return from 1999-2004. Snipes also signed two contracts for an estimated $10 million and failed to report either. He was acquitted on federal tax fraud and found guilty of three misdemeanor counts.  Update: Wesley Snipes received 3 years in prison for his 3 misdemeanor counts. Looks like the justice system is finally cracking down on celebrities.Richard Hatch (winner of Survivor): Failed to report his $1 million Survivor winnings, $10,00o for appearing on the Survivor Reunion show, and $321,000 for other guest appearances–so, a bit over $1.3 million of unreported income. Hatch was charged with two counts of tax evasion and filing a fraudeulent return. He was sentenced to 51 months in prison.So, why is it that the man with the least amount of fame and the least amount owed to the IRS was the only one that saw the inside of a jail cell? Is it just a coincidence that Hatch received the harshest punishment or another example of star power and influence? Then we have cases like NBA star Carmelo Anthony. The All-Star power forward for the Denver Nuggets was arrested on April 14, 2008 for driving while intoxicated. The usual routine for a D.U.I. is your car gets impounded on the scene, you go to jail, get booked, and then you are released after you’ve sobered up–usually in jail for hours. Pretty standard protocol, right? Well, if you’re famous, then maybe not…You see, for Carmelo the standard protocol played out much more differently than it would for the rest of us…Instead of the usual tow truck being called to impound the car, an officer was kind enough to personally drive Anthony’s car to the impound yard himself….and when Carmelo’s fiance’ refused to pick him up from jail, another officer gave him a ride home. I believe most people charged with D.U.I.’s are stuck in a jail cell until they sober up and then kicked to the curb and forced to find their own way home. The police probably just felt bad for Anthony because he is so poor that he couldn’t even afford a taxi.The list of celebrities getting off easy can go on an on: Nicole Richie: Driving while under the influence of pain killers and marijuana. She was on the wrong side of the freeway when the police found her and still she only served 82 minutes in jail. What kind of joke is that? 82 minutes?Micha Barton: DUI, driving without a license, and drug possession. Drug charges dropped, driving without a license lowered to an infraction, and no jail time served. The star treatment dates back to over a decade ago. Remember O.J.’s famous car chase back in 1994 in which he held a gun to his friend’s head and forced him to drive all around L.A.? Well he wasn’t charged at all for that.All is forgiven in Hollywood. Why do all these superstars get away with the same crimes that many lower class Americans are currently in jail, serving time for? Why do they deserve their freedom while the less fortunate have to suffer? Money may not buy you happiness, but it sure looks like it can buy your freedom.

The Hills star Lauren Conrad revealed to OK! magazine that she  is planning on writing a juicy tell-all book about certain young Hollywood social lites that are part of her social circle.

One of the people talked about is Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.

“A chapter got leaked to Kristin,” a friend tells OK!. “It talks about her ‘sleeping around Laguna’ and stealing Stephen Colletti.”

Lauren is just talking about her reality tv co-stars in this book. She also reveals secrets about other young celebrities such as Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton.  Paris confronted Lauren on the matter, in which Lauren assured her that nothing was in the works.

“We all know she’s just trying to save face!” Paris’ friend tells OK!.

We have all seen the cover of People magazine with Nicole Richie holding her beautiful new baby, Harlow Madden. In the issue Nicole and Joel Madden, discusses what it was like seeing Harlow for the first time, how Nicole and Joel chose their baby’s name, how life has changed since having a baby, what parenthood is like, and how Nicole has developed maternal instincts.

How Nicole felt when she first laid eyes on her baby:

“I cried right away,” Richie says of seeing Harlow for the first time. “I was holding her, and it was something that was so much bigger than me. Now she looks a little more like Joel, but when she was born, it looked like Joel had nothing to do with it.”

How Nicole and Joel chose the name Harlow:

“I wanted a hippie name and he wanted a more Biblical name,” Richie says – the uniqueness of Harlow stuck. “Harlow’s a cool name because it feels like a classic name,” Madden says, citing the actress Jean Harlow and model Shalom Harlow as two major inspirations.

How life has changed since having a baby:
“I don’t even remember what life was like before her,” new mom Nicole Richie, 26, says of daughter Harlow Winter Kate, born January 11. “She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

“She’s never out of my mind,” says Richie. “I stop doing things for me anymore. Everything is for her.”"I was watching her in her crib,” says Richie. “And she happened to wake up and I was like, ‘Good morning!” And she smiled and it was the cutest thing ever.”

What parenthood is like:

It’s “the best thing that’s ever happened to us,” Joel Madden tells PEOPLE that Harlow has changed his and Nicole Richie’s life: “We have a very mellow life compared to two years ago, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

How Nicole has developed maternal instincts:

Attuned to her daughter’s needs, Richie says she knows how to pacify her when she’s in need. “I’m with her all the time … I know when somethings wrong,” she explains. And to soothe Harlow, Richie and Joel Madden, 28, play her lullaby versions of Radiohead and Nirvana songs.

Nicole Richie has been offered the lead role of Roxy Hart in the Broadway production of ‘Chicago.’ Which she must be ecstatic about. What an amazing opportunity. And finally, we will get the chance to hear her sing. I remember back when Paris thought she could sing and signed a record contract, so did Nicole. But it seems that Nicole apparently really does have some chops if she is offered such an amazing role. Good for her.

Richie tells US weekly, “She’s definitely interested and weighing it out with the timing of the baby. It is in the super early stages of discussions and no decision has been made yet.”

“It would give her a reason to really show her talent and to stay in the new place in NY Joel just got,” the source says. “It also shows people are really excited about Nicole right now.”

“She is also weighing some other amazing offers but 2008 is going to be really exciting for her,” the source says. “She just working it all out and keeping Harlow in mind with everything she does, of course!”"You have to be able to act, dance and sing,” Robert Viagas, founder of Playbill.com tells Us. “And if you’re able to pull off all three, the entertainment world notices.”

Here are some hightlights of the interview that People had with new mother, Nicole Richie, which hits newsstands on Friday:

On how the last six weeks have changed her, “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

As for breastfeeding, “There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive,” says the new mom, 26. “I eat really bland [food] ? chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”

And while Richie says, “I don’t know” how long she was in labor, “because I don’t know what time I actually went into labor, but I pushed for 10 minutes,” Joel Madden, 28, said of his daughter: “She came out and she was crying. The doctor goes, ‘Well, it looks like you got a little girl!’ ”
