Well isn’t this an interesting turn of events?

Madonna, who split from her husband Guy Ritchie over a year ago, was seen having a romantic dinner with her ex-husband Sean Penn, who also recently split from his wife Robin Wright, at NYC restaurant, Adour, in the St. Regis Hotel.

Oh, and if there were any questions whether this dinner was in fact a date rather than a meal between old friends, the couple apparently dined at the restaurant for OVER 3 1/2 HOURS!  Sounds like a date to me.

So the question is: Is this a double-rebound between two ex-lovers, or is this a real reconciliation on the path back to marriage?  Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Some of the best things come out of NYC-high fashion, great food, great art. I mean we’ve seen all these elements on MTV’s The CIty,  Gossip Girl and also Sex And The City now that we think about it.

New York, New York is even further on top now that the city is celebrating the 27th World Series Title for their beloved baseball team-the Yankees. 

Last night, the New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the play offs and won the 2009 World Series. Derek Jeter, a Yankee and celeb fav (he’s dated Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, even Vanessa Minillo) was all smiles as he and his team mates checked out their championship trophy. 

New York City’s mayor has scheduled a parade through Manhattan Friday to honor the Yankees. “I wanna wake up in that city that doesn’t sleep” and celebrate in the Big Apple too. Don’t you?

Leighton Meester was on hand to join Weezer on-stage at their concert in NYC at the Hammerstein Ballroom to help them perform their new single “If You’re Wondering If I Want You To (I Want You To)”…and it was okayyyyy.

Not bad, just okay.

Hugh Grant was leaving the Waverly Inn in NYC the other night when the paparazzi began filming him.  One pap kindly directed him to the closest cab and while Hugh had been perfectly calm up until that point, suddenly out of nowhere he kicked the pap in the groin, REALLY hard.

Hugh you’re so cute…why you gotta be such a jerk-face?  Someone’s in need of anger management…
