Paul Reubens has revived his perpetual child character Pee-Wee for a live show called ‘The Pee-Wee Herman Show at Club Nokia at LA Live’. The show opened Jan 21st and will run until Feb 7th. For anyone born after the ’80s, Paul Reubens had a popular Saturday morning kids show called ‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse‘ and a string over movies that became cult classics. ‘Pee-wee’s Big Adventure’ was Tim Burton’s directorial debut. The character Pee-wee originated back in 1981 when Rubens performed in the Groundlings Theater, and it just exploded from there. The live stage show toured for the next few years and the offers rolled in.
‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse’ made it’s big comeback in 2006 when Cartoon Network aired re-runs and a whole new generation fell in love with the hilarious and zany Pee-wee, such as Dylan and Cole Sprouse.

Tickets are between $30.00 and $125.00

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
The Pee-Wee Herman Show, starring Paul Reubens as Pee-wee, will go on stage this November at The Music Box theater (The Fonda) in Hollywood.
Reubens says, “It’s time. My Pee-Wee suit and red bow tie are at the ready – and this is proof that white shoes are cool past Labor Day”.
The on-stage version of the Saturday morning classic will include all of our FAVORITE characters, like Miss Yvonne, Mailman Mike, Cowboy Curtis, Jambi the Genie, Chairry, Pterri the pterodactyl, Conky, Randy, and all the other magic playhouse fixtures.

I am BEYOND EXCITED for this!
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, August 11, at 8am.
