Audrina Patridge made a big deal about her new tattoo she got yesterday in LA. But, rumor has it that she got a fake tattoo for Ashton Kutcher’s new reality show, Pop Fiction. Some clues that tipped us off were that first, she walked out of the tattoo parlor without a bandage protecting the tattoo and second, someone translated the Chinese lettering and it says, “The rice is fried in pork fat.” Yeah, I’m sure that’s what she wants on her arm for the rest of her life. Real sexy.
Last Saturday, Paris Hilton was photographed and made headlines around the world when she walked the streets of Hollywood with an orange-robed, grey-haired “shaman” who proceeded to bless her and then encouraged her to donate a diamond necklace to a stranger.
Numerous stories were made up about Hilton wanting to change her ways and this guru was going to save her.
The real story is that Paris and the guru, actor Maxie Santillian Jr., are both part of Ashton Kutcher’s new prank show, “Pop Fiction,” which will feature 20 celebrities, including several superstars, who are all in on the joke.
Kutcher and his business partner Jason Goldberg produce the new program, which highlights the gullibility of the paparazzi and the media and is set to premiere on E! on Sunday.
Goldberg says, “We live in a culture that’s driven by media and obsessed with celebrity, to the point where they don’t have private lives anymore.
“Two people going out to eat turns into, ‘They’re engaged.’ It’s a feeding frenzy. It’s dangerous and it’s irresponsible in some cases.
“We’re having fun, but we want to say to people, ‘Can you really believe everything you read and see?’”
I think this is a really good idea for a show. I’ve thought about the concept myself. It’s about time the paparazzi get whats commin’ to them. I can’t wait for the show to air.
