Actor Rob Lowe is one of the many people affected by the wildfires that have been burning in Southern California.  According to backseatcuddler.com the actor barely made it out in time.  Rob stated,

My son and I were watching the football game and my wife, who was out running errands, called and said ‘Get out, the mountain’s on fire,’ and I thought she was kidding.  I put the kids in the car, turned out of the driveway, and the entire mountain was on fire with flames shooting 200 feet n the air.  There was literally no warning.  It came out of nowhere.

How scary is that?  Good thing his wife heard about the fire in time to alert Rob.

Laura Boyce, the second nanny involved in the Rob Lowe lawsuit has filed a cross-complaint against Sheryl Lowe.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Boyce is accusing Sheryl of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, and other labor code violations.  Boyce worked as a nanny for the Lowe family for seven months back in 2007 and claims that Sheryl created a, “extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment…. behaving in a … perverted, disgusting, and crude manner.”  Boyce claims that Sheryl would walk around naked exposing herself to her, openly talk about her sex life with Rob, she would ask Boyce about her sex life, and even asked about her boyfriend’s penis size.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               The Lowe’s lawyer Larry Stein issued a statement in regard to the allegations saying, “Having struck out against Rob Lowe, Gloria Allred now seeks to drag his wife and children into the fray.  In response to a lawsuit against Laura Boyce by the Lowes.  Ms. Allred filed a cross-complaint on behalf of Boyce, which contains false allegations, in an apparent attempt to divert the negative publicity which Allred’s client, Gibson, has universally received.  Although framed as a sexual harassment claim against both Sheryl and Rob Lowe, the cross-complaint alleges only words by Sheryl and never mentions any word or conduct by Rob whatsoever.  The alleged statements by Sheryl are totally unrelated to, and do not provide any support for, Gibson’s claim against Rob.”                                                                                                 Rob and Sheryl Lowe claim that they are the victims of a $1.5 million extortion scheme. 

Rob Lowe’s former nanny, Jessica Gibson, is going public claiming that the Brothers & Sisters star “exposed himself, touched himself and groped her several times, in her lawsuit, filed yesterday in Santa Barbara,” according to TMZ:

“The suit also alleges that the actor grabbed her butt without her consent in December 2007, around the time she quit working for the Lowes.”

Jessica appeared on the Today Show this morning with her attorney to relay her side of the story. To me both sides seem a little suspicious. Here is a clip of the interview.

Rob Lowe is allegedly being blackmailed by one of his former nanny’s that is asking for $1.5 million in hush money. Rob claims the woman will spread “a vicious laundry list of false terribles,” according to his pre-emptive strike via open letter in The Huffington Post. Today, Lowe and his wife filed suit against the nanny and others. People reports:In a 26-page complaint against the longtime former nanny, Lowe’s lawyers say the woman claimed to have “a personal and intimate relationship (with Lowe), and, in effect, accusing Rob Lowe of infidelity.” The Lowes also learned that the nanny repeatedly expressed romantic interest in Rob and told people that “she wished he would divorce Sheryl Lowe.”On at least one occasion, the nanny “bragged” about giving Lowe a massage during a trip with the Lowe family, according to court papers. (The couple claims it never happened.) The woman also allegedly claimed that Lowe sexually harassed her and that Sheryl Lowe was an “overly demanding” and “abusive” employer, who made “inappropriate comments of a sexual and racial nature” to her.The other parties include another ex-nanny who allegedly spread malicious lies and a former chef who liked to have sex on the couple’s bed:In the 19-page filing against the former chef, Lowe claims the ex-employee had sex on their bed “with third parties” when the family was out of town, stole prescription drugs from their medicine cabinet that he later distributed to his friends, broke several security cameras and overcharged them for food. According to the suit, he also allegedly made statements to various people that Sheryl was heartless, cold and “unclean.”
