The restraining order filed by the Spears family against Sam Lufti just expired earlier this week (on Monday the 17th). With the threat of a court battle lingering over his head, Lufti has agreed to stay away from Britney for one more month.

It’s probably a good idea that he agreed to this as a restraining order can be extended for up to 5 years. To have an extension dropped, Lufti would have to convince a judge that he is not a threat…. with his past track record (remember, this is not his first restraining order), in addition to the ongoing investigation into the allegations of him drugging Britney, I don’t think Lufti would be doing much convincing.

Too bad Sammy-boy, I guess you’ll have to find somebody else’s millions to spend…I hear Paris Hilton is looking for a new BFF! (See our Paris Hilton BFF story for more details!)

So, last week Jamie Spears went back to court in an attempt to gain the right to fire Britney’s lawyer, Howard Grossman. He won…. and the court documents were released today–so now you can see how it all went down…just do a simple internet search and you’ll find the docs….

But, basically Jamie Spears was able to prove that Grossman was circumventing the conservatorship and that he needed to be fired and immediately ordered to hand over all of the documents and records relating to Britney’s assets, debts, and liabilities, including credit cards, bank statements, checkbooks, contracts, safe deposit keys, securities, bonds, stock certificates….blah blah blah, basically EVERYTHING…

Grossman tried to defend his actions by stating that “he wanted to comply with Britney’s requests because he wanted to ‘build her confidence in him’…” Apparently he did not realize the severity of the situation…

Jamie keeps winning and winning…and on Valentine’s Day, they’ll be back in court to determine if the Conservatorship will become permanent–for now, these court documents show that Jamie Spears and the co-conservator have the right to restrict and limit all of Britney’s visitors by any means, explicitly stating she can have NO contact with Sam Lufti by any means: phone, texts, emails, etc. It also says that Britney does NOT have the capacity to retain counsel for herself–she has been granted a court-appointed attorney however and may meet with him.

Given the way things have gone so far, I think it may be that Valentine’s Day is not going to be a good day for Brit.

Britney is out of the hospital and is swarmed by papparazzi.  Fox news  has heliocopter video of the crazy car chase through Beverly Hills earlier today.  The papprazzos are clearly a public danger–watch the videos and see for yourself. 

Fox News is also reporting that the court documents state that Sam Lufti was crushing prescription drugs and putting them into Britney’s food without her knowledge.  Sam must stay away from Britney and cannot be within 200 feet of her home.  It’s also being reported that he was removing items from her home when she was first admitted into the hospital–can somebody please just put this guy in jail already?  How many restraining orders have to be granted before someone can press criminal charges against such a horrible person?

Britney Spears went crazy today yelling at her manager/friend, Sam Lufti, in a British accent. She was screaming,“I want to drive my f***ing car!”; “Get out of the f***ing car!”; “Drive my f***ing car is what I gotta do!”; etc. etc.

Britney has really bad judgment when it comes to picking friends. Sam Lufti has had several restraining orders in his personal history–including a 3 year restraining order granted by an Orange County Judge back in April.

The petition for the order came from Danny Haines (a former friend of Lufti), who claimed that Lufti was a “dangerous person.” Apparently the judge agreed, because she granted the 3 year restraining order not only for Haines, but also for his mother and sister! (Source: MTV.com)
