In this weeks issue of USmagazine, the notoriously evil, Sam Lutfi, opens up to the magazine about how he used to medicate the singer, about her bipolar disorder, what happened the second time she was hospitalized, and her parents reaction.

“In the depressive episodes, it’s all crying,” Lutfi tells Us. “But in the manic episode, there’s very little crying or sympathy or compassion. She becomes another person. She becomes somebody that just doesn’t care about anybody or anything.”

“The British accent is part of the mania,” he adds. “She’ll stick to the British accent because she becomes comfortable with it… But you know, when the pink wig comes on, it’s getting bad.”

According to Lutfi, when Britney was admitted to UCLA Medical Center the second time on January 31, she was having a fight with her a parents and yelled, “Well, he is better family than you guys will ever be.”

Lutfi tells Usthat he gave Britney “a handful of pills” before her parents arrived. “I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills,” he recalls. Spears, Lutfi says, agreed that the meds were helping her sleep.

(In their restraining order against Lutfi filed yesterday, Spears’ parents accuse him of drugging their daughter and being verbally abusive. Jamie, who has been named as his daughter’s conservator, “is doing what he has to do to save Britney,” a source tells Us.)

Spears is one of nearly six million American adults suffering from bipolar disorder, a mental illness consisting of extreme shifts in mood, thought, energy, and behavior patterns.

When the ambulance arrived to take Spears, “she was very quiet,” Lutfi tells Us.

“When I told her, she wrote me a note and put a big heart on it and it said, ‘I love you, Sam. Are there people coming? Circle yes or no,’” Lutfi recalls. “Oh, my God, it was funny, just the cutest little thing. I circled yes and I gave it back to her, and she looked at me and she’s like, ‘Oh, lord, here we go again.”

Attorneys are fighting on Spears’ behalf to take conservatorship away from Jamie. Having Jamie in control of her estate and medical decisions is a worst-case scenario for Spears, sources tell Us.

So they do care. Finally Brit’s parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, are stepping up and are taking an active role in their sick daughter’s life. Way to go. Where were they like 4 years ago when Brit started getting herself in this mess?

Today they were seen going into the LA court house to fight for the welfare of their troubled daughter. The family is seeking conservatorship, which will give them the legal right to make all medical and financial decisions for their eldest daughter while she is in an incapacitated state.

Lynne and Jamie both feel that Sam Lutfi is hazardous to Britney’s health and welfare and are going to do whatever it takes to keep him away from Brit.

Lutfi has reportedly been working with his lawyer to try to get Brit out of the hospital sooner than should be allowed.

In the meantime, Brit’s parents have changed all the locks to Britney’s house as a start to keep Lutfi away from their daughter.

Britney was rushed to UCLA Medical Center at 1am this morning, escorted by a small army of police on motorcycles, cruisers and helicopters.

The Los Angeles Times reported the 26-year-old was removed from her home and placed on a “mental health evaluation hold.” Brit’s psychiatrist prompted the call for her to be taken away for evaluation because she was alarmed by the singer’s recent reckless driving and conduct and decided that another 5150 hold was necessary. TMZ reported that the plan to hospitalize Spears had been launched days ago and was abandoned at the last minute on Wednesday, then put into place early Thursday and was so intricate that the Federal Aviation Administration had to be contacted to clear airspace on the route to the hospital. Several outlets are reporting that Spears went calmly, and had not slept for three days; she was videotaped purchasing a case of an energy drink earlier this week, and was photographed nodding off in her car.

Sam Lutfi told LA Times that Brit wanted to go to the hospital. “She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong,” Lutfi said.

Brit was there under 5150 yet again, meaning an individual who is considered by a medical professional to be a danger to herself or others can be involuntarily committed to a mental institution by her family or even friends. A 5150 hold translates into 72 hours in a locked mental institution and must be approved by trained professionals like a psychiatrist or a nurse.

Early in the evening, Britney’s parents seemed to have a had a fight with Lutfi saying that they wanted him out of her life forever. TMZ website reported that Jamie Spears is infuriated with Lutfi’s involvement and has accused him of “trying to control his daughter’s mind.”

Poor Britney had another falling out last night, this time with pal Sam Lutfi.

Britney was sitting on her front porch with her dog, London, talking to her pal Sam Lutfi.

The LAPD, was called up to the Summit, a gated community where Brit lives. According to Officer Lopez, some photographers were breaching security trying to get up to Brit’s house.

Adnan apparently tried to get to her and he was denied access.

Brit and Sam started fighting and Brit got upset and began crying. The photographers asked her if she was OK. The troubled star responded, “I’m fine. I’m sitting for once and having a nice time with my dog.”

Britney’s parents, Jamie and Lynne, arrived to speak to her. Britney then left the house in an SUV, headed towards Beverly Hills, with another photographer, believed to be Adnan’s pal Filipe Teixeira. Some time later she jumped out Filipe’s car and into Adnan’s.

Adnan, trying to look like a good guy in this whole Britney fiasco, released the following statement via his photo agency, FinalPixx:

“The truth is that Sam Lutfi started an argument with Britney and the two ended up in a screaming fight. Sam continued to verbally abuse Britney as she sat barefoot on the curb at her Summit home crying holding her dog London.“Britney called Adnan for help and he heard the distress in her voice and drove to the Summit immediately. While outside the gates he was denied access as Sam Lutfi had informed the guards that he was not allowed entry. When Adnan then tried to call Britney it seems that Sam had turned all of her cell phones off.”
