After months of playing coy (sort of), Lindsay Lohan finally admitted that her and Sam Ronson are a couple. Big surprise!

Lindsay’s public recognition of the relationship is the last piece to seal the deal of what everyone already knew. The rumors began when the two were seen spending so much time together, and were fueled by the multiple pictures and reports that popped up demonstrating the couple’s affectionate ways. The two even started doing joint blogs or individual blogs about the same subject and posted around the same times.

But the official announcement came when DJ Stryker from Loveline asked the two how long they have been together, and Lindsay responded with, “A very long time.” We know! We just were waiting for you to come out with it.

The pair had been on the show talking about the plane crash involving DJ AM and Travis Barker when things turned to the romantic. After Lindsay commented on their relationship in length, DJ Stryker said, “I hope you guys stay together, you’re a very lovely looking couple,” which Lindsay followed with a simple, “Thank you very much.”

After all of Lindsay’s rehab, family, and work drama, this relationship has seemed to be the most low-key side we have seen of the young actress. It’s nice to see a softer side of L.L., instead of the hard partying, wild antics that used to surround herself with. Will this relationship last longer than her others? We’ll see!

News of the World is reporting that Dina Lohan is planning a wedding for her daughter and Samantha Ronson. Something that started out as just a fling… has apparently turned into something more serious.

“Dina is still working on the date of the party but it’s looking like towards the end of the year. Lindsay’s new album Spirit In The Dark is out in November, so (the wedding could be held) around then. They’ve been keeping the relationship quiet for months and trying to pass each other off as ‘just good friends’. But they’ve decided it isn’t a fling - it’s for life - so they want to make their romance public.”

The paper also claims that Samantha will wear a groom’s costume with top hat at the couple’s wedding. I wouldn’t expect her to wear anything else.

Yeah, not quite sure what I think of this rumor. I don’t believe that Lindsay, after only few months of dating a girl, would jump into such a life long commitment. I hope the girl has more common since than that.

But she has many people speculating since recently she was spotted at a Dolce & Gabbana party in Cannes with a ring on her engagement finger.

So the latest question about Miss Lindsay Lohan is not how much longer till she returns to rehab (though chances are high considering she’s already been there three times), but whether or not she and Samantha Ronson are a couple. In a recent edition of Us Weekly, he sold out supported his daughter, stating that Lohan “is a big girl and she can make her own life choices.” Furthermore, Michael said that “anyone with half a brain” can see that his daughter’s romance is the real thing.

If you put them together, the couple has one fully functional–okay semi-functional–brain. I don’t know, maybe there is some truth to the fame-whoring father’s comments.

Outside of her dad’s comments, recent behavior has led many to believe that Lindsay is a fellow female lover. Ronson moved in with Lohan after her latest return from rehab and Lohan has been sporting a ring with the initials “SR”—a sign of devotion to Ms. Ronson?

So is all this just another one of Lindsay’s crazy shenanigans or is Lohan actually a lesbian?

According to The New York Daily News they are letting some gossip out of the box. Apparently Lindsay Lohan’s MySpace account was revealed and compromised. Someone with exclusive access exposed the contents to the press.

Apparently one of [the 75 friends with access] gave the magazine access to “heated” exchanges between Lohan and her openly gay deejay pal, Samantha Ronson. Details of the affectionate correspondence appear under the headline, “Lindsay’s Lesbian Love Letters!”

Lohan allegedly tells Ronson: “Babe, if I don’t have you in my life then I should just go die. … I want to marry you and have children with you.”

Apparently Lindsay isn’t fussy about who changes her name.

“Go to bed babe,” she wrote to her pal late one night.

“I love you. - [signed] Lindsay Ronson.”
