Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed daughter Charlotte Grace last September, but People Magazine wanted to know, why the wait?

Sarah Michelle, 32, said that

“Becoming a parent is the most selfless act, and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child,” and continued “I don’t know if you know how to that when you’re in your 20s.”

Indeed, wise words from a woman that knows herself. New father Freddie agrees with his wife, adding

“I’m so happy we didn’t have kids in our 20s – I just didn’t know a thing. You have so much more patience in your 30s, and I feel like I appreciate this so much more.”

Prinze Jr. is one year older at 33. You can tell by the realistic way they look rearing children that they will make great parents.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their baby girl, Charlotte Grace on Saturday, September 19.

“The family is over the moon,” a source tells People.

This is the first child for the couple, who wed in Mexico in September 2002.  The actors met on set of their horror flick “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

Former Buffy the Vampire star Sarah Michelle Gellar is pregnant with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.’s baby, and it looks like she just about ready to POP!

A Buffy Baby

There is a little Prinze on the way!  Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have announced that they are having a baby, which is super adorable.  The couple has been together for six years (and since Hollywood years are about the same in dog years, that means they are around the 42 year mark), and this is their first baby.  Now the only thing the two need to do is get their acting careers back on track; because seriously, what have they been doing all this time?

Pink and Carey Hart Back Together

When Pink and Carey ended their marriage, the two were said to be on friendly terms–and perhaps the friendly terms just gradually evolved back into something romantic, since the two have confirmed that they are back together.  Reunited and it feels so good!  Concerning getting back together, Carey has said, “We’re working shit out, I admit it. She’s just totally normal and low key,” to which P!nk replied, “So What?  I’m still a rockstar.”  Aw, Hollywood love–fickle, frisky, and fully fun!

Kanye the Gay Fish

We joked about Kanye’s love for controversy in our April Fool’s story of the singer’s “sex change” desire, but the kings of controversy themselves over at South Park Studios have “uncovered” another desire of Kanye’s: he wants to be with male fish (in that way).  I have to admit, I love South Park because no one can make celebrities seem quite as crazy as the Colorado cartoon cut-outs.  And turning “Heartless” into “Gay Fish”?  Completely ridiculous, but absolutely hilarious.

Celebs Stealing other Celebs’ looks

It’s okay when celebs look-a-like naturally–Katy Perry can’t help that she looks like Zooey Deschanel; at least they have different styles (although word on the street is that Z.D. is not too pleased with the constant comparison).  Nicole Richie does Lady GaGa–and while it looks good, it’s never cool to be a style stealer.  And while some styles are vague enough that borrowing a bit from another celeb can go unnoticed, there are very few scenesters who don square sunglasses and metallic unitards.

Pressure to Lose Weight: the Male Version

Okay, we’ll admit it: dude’s gained a little weight.  But let’s be real; Ed’s not in danger of an obesity-induced heart attack anytime soon.  Besides, there is always drama about sticking up for “real women” as a defense for female celebrities who have put on weight, why can’t we say the same about “real men”?  Apparently, though, the costume coordinators on GG have been complaining about the weight gain.  Sure, he might not look as cute and ironic in his bow ties on Gossip Girl if he has double chins hanging over them; and the tight pants might not work as well with a little belly pooching over his belts, but so what?  Maybe Chuck is in need of a new wardrobe, as well as a new love interest–because I can’t be the only one who is tired of all the partner swapping on the show.  Maybe a plus size gal to give the illusion of slimness to Ed?

Break-ups Gone Bad: Lindsay Lohan

From rumors of restraining orders to fights with window breaking to an US magazine cover proclaiming the actress’s (or former actress?) loneliness, things just aren’t going Lindsay Lohan’s way after her break-up with DJ Sam Ronson.  But it makes sense; Lindsay wasn’t exactly a stable rock when she started dating Sam, but it seemed like dating the DJ had grounded a lot of the wild child’s antics.  And the relationship went on for a fairly substantial time, so it kind of makes sense that Lindsay would spiral out of control once she lost what may have been her anchor.

Seriously, this is freaking weird.  Of all the stars who you might have thought would tongue joust at Bravo’s A-list Awards, would Aubrey O’Day and Kathy Griffin come to mind?  Actually, if you were to think of two A-list stars, would Aubrey O’Day and Kathy Griffin come to mind?  My guess is no to both.
