The couple became engaged in May of this year and always tried to keep their relationship away from the public eye.

Reynolds’ representative Meredith O’Sullivan shared the good news that Johansson and Reynolds got married last weekend in Canada.

The wedding was simple and only attended by the couple’s families and some close friends.

Congratulations, Scarlett and Ryan!  I’m sure we’ll soon be hearing news of Scarlett getting pregnant.

Both Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds’ reps have confirmed that the two hot stars have indeed become engaged! The couple have been dating seriously for over a year. Ryan 31, popped the question to Scarlett 23, recently and she accepted. Ryan is currently in Boston filming a movie titled The Proposal co-starring Sandra Bullock. Scarlett has just finished her album and has recently filmed a music video.

No wedding date has been set yet, both have said that they are thrilled! Most likely they are just enjoying being engaged.
The seductive siren is suspected to show off her bling bling at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York. She is set to wear the always fashionable and delicious Dulce and Gabbana.

Can’t wait!! Love the ring, thats the best part of engagements! Oh and like proclaiming your love to the world, that’s pretty cool too, I guess.

Dang those two are hot!!! They need to make babies and populate the world with perfect little hottie clones.

Emma Watson, best known as Hermione from Harry Potter,  has landed a new role.  She will be playing the part of Betsy, a young noblewomen that has been trapped on the island of St. Helena were Napoleon was exiled to, in the new drama Napoleon and Betsy.                                                                           The part was originally intended for Scarlett Johansson but since the movie is somewhat of a true story and Betsy was only 13 when she met Napoleon the filmmakers decided to cast a younger actress.  Johansson will still co-produce the film.                                                                                            Filming for Napoleon and Betsy will begin this fall and will have to work around Emma’s filming of Harry Potter.

In a recent interview with Spin magazine you will find Scarlett Johansson does not mince words. When asked about how she sees herself in relation to other starlets-turned-singers, specifically regarding Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, she had this to say:

“I have no relationship with either of them, even as far as my lifestyle or the music I listen to. They probably made music that fits with their lifestyle — ‘Wouldn’t it be great if I were dancing to my own song in “da club”?’ But my album is more suited to my lifestyle.  I live a very low-key life.”

Ouch.
