Which Celebrities are Leaving the Country if Obama loses?

Posted on 04 November 2008 by Cindy

Well, the list keeps growing, but Bitten and Bound is reporting that Akon, Seal, Susan Sarandon, and Michael Stipe will all be running for the border if the republican party gets voted into office.  Last week it was reported that  Heidi Klum & Seal said they’d be leaving the U.S. if McCain wins (hence Seal being on the list with Bitten and Bound–wonder why they didn’t list Heidi?  She’s so much hotter than Seal–I’m sure Americans would be much more likely to take notice of her ultimatum than his don’t ya think?).

The Envelope also has Stephen Baldwin and Tina Fey on their list.  Well, Tina says she’ll be leaving Earth, so she’s just joking I’m sure.

So, do all these celebrity threats to leave the country really make a difference in the election?  I don’t think so.  Most celebrities live in different countries throughout the year anyway.  And there’s plenty of other celebs to keep us all happy and entertained anyway.  What do you all think?  Is it stupid of them to be publicly announcing their intent to leave?  Does anyone really care?

Seal and Heidi Klum Will Move if McCain is Elected Prez

Posted on 29 October 2008 by Jessca

Seal and wife Heidi Klum join the likes of celebrities-for-Obama as they announce that they will be leaving the USA if McCain is elected into office next week.

Seal and Heidi Klum

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Seal confirmed the statement, saying that it would not be a problem for them to move.  He blamed Bush for the country’s failed economy, health system, and the undeniably unnecessary war in Iraq.  Where exactly they would relocate to was not mentioned.

We’ll see if they stay true to their word.  Or maybe we won’t have to find out …
