So there you have it! Is everyone in total agreement here? I have to call shenanigans on a few things, first off how on earth did The Office lose out to Big Bang Theory?! I had no idea that show was still on, maybe I am missing something. I never sat through it for longer then 5 seconds before flipping the channel. Also, I heart Eminem, back in 1999! He is a little washed up and Flo Rida was literally BURNING the charts up this last year, who the heck was voting for theses? I bet he paid people to go online and vote or something, yea I said it, what?!
Props go out to Lady Gaga for snagging two awards, the only one to do that this year. I am shocked to see Robert Pattinson did not win favorite actor, I love Johnny Depp, but I just thought Robert would take it. Other then that no surprises, Twilight was awesome and American Idol dominates the ratings every week it is on. Not sure about Supernatural winning, but I have never seen it, big Lost fan.
Transformers 3 is set to release 2011, according to The Insider. Michael Bay is going to once again direct in the third installment of the franchise. The movies costars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will also be rejoining for the third time. Although there is no script, the release date has been set.
Update:
Michael Bay has confirmed via his website that Transformers 3 is in the works. Earlier Bay posted,
Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physicianwhen working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.
I have to digress here a little, I have this issue with movies having a release date before a script is even done. It is always so obvious when you watch the trite that it was literally slapped together at the last minute with the hope that no one will notice. Well Mr. Bay, we notice. Trust me when I say Transformers II was a pile of crap and judging by what is going on with number three, it looks like it will follow in the same doomed footsteps.
Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf
It is good that Fox and LaBeouf are coming back, that usually means that it might have a chance, but in this case I think it will still suck as much, if not more, then the second installment. Why don’t you try writing the story first. Spend some time on it, make the characters well drawn and involved in real conflict and resolution, rather just dumping a bunch of gasoline all over an over sexed explod-a-thon. The first one was good, do that again.
What do you all think, will you see the Transformers III movie?
For all you Shia LaBeouf fans out there, there is a website made especially for you calledShiantology that celebrates the Transformers actor, or ‘The MeSHIAh’ as he is known to his followers.
The site proclaims: “Shiantology is a fictional religion in which Shia LaBeouf is the MeSHIAh. This fan site offers news, photos, videos and updates on Shia”.
Find yourself questioning religion? Not sure which path to take? Scared to death by Tom Cruise?
Then SHIANTOLOGY may be for you.
A new religion founded on Sunday, February 8, 2009 and characterized by a belief in the power of Shia’s spirit to clear itself of past painful experiences (in particular, hand smashing car crashes and drunken outbursts in Walgreens) through self-knowledge, spiritual fulfillment and copious amounts of Arizona Ice Tea.
Shiantology places an emphasis upon Shia’s immortal spirit, Shiacarnation, an extrascientific method of pshiachotherapy (Shianetics), and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, daily SHIA WALKING POSTS.
Here are some pictures of Shia embodied in some famous religious photos.
The popular social networking website, Facebook.com is slated to come to the big screen. The screenplay, written by Aaron Sorkin (known for his work on the hit t.v. show West Wing) has been completed and the producers are currently working on getting a director and finding actors.
The screenplay, based off the book ‘The Accidental Billionaires’, will focus on how the website grew to have over 200 million members and will document that amazing journey to the top. Beginning in 2004 when Harvard sophomore, Mark Zuckerberg created the website.
Would-be director, David Fincher
Columbia Pictures is in talks with director of Benjamin Button, David Fincher, to come on board and direct the movie.
According to Perez Hilton, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg might be played by Shia LaBeouf or Michael Cera.
It is hoped that production will begin later this year.
I don’t know about this one, can a movie about a social networking site be interesting enough to hold audience attention for 90 minutes? I can’t even spend that much time on the actual website its self, let alone sit through an entire movie about it. Maybe if Shia is the lead, I would see it!
Shia LaBeouf was being interviewed on the Today Show by Meredith Vieira when she spotted this young fan outside with Matt Lauer who was going crazy over Shia. She asks Meredith if Shia would be coming out side.
Shia wasn’t about to let himself loose outside with all his crazy girl fans, but seeing that this girl, Samantha, really wanted to meet Shia, Matt invited her up to the studio to meet the Transformer actor.
Meredith asks Shia if he noticed Samantha outside and he said ”I like Samantha a lot. She seems like a real special person. I would love to meet her – is she here?” They bring Samantha in and make her bring Shia a cup of coffee.
Shia super super nice and thankful for his coffee says that he is upset that there is no chair for her to set down next to him in. He than comments on her outfit saying, “You look great. Is this your morning hi, say nice things to Shia outfit?” Samantha says no that she just bought her dress and that she has been planning it out all week.
Seeing that Shia and Sam have some sort of connection, Meredith gets up from her seat and gives it to Sam.
Samantha is overwhelmed when Meredith asks her if she has any questions for Shia. She stutters out “I don’t know what to ask … I’m in shock … what kind of girl are you interested in – honestly, honestly. Just be honest.”
Shia answers her, in a flirtatious way, “All kinds. All kinds. I don’t have a specific.”
Meredith screams, “He doesn’t have a girlfriend!” While Samantha just says “Oh my God!”
Then Shia leans in and asks Samantha, “What are doing for the rest of the day? My day is boring. Samantha says that she’s with her four friends.
Shia looks thrilled and says, “Four friends. You’ve round up the troops already.”
Samantha than asks Shia to say to her friends and than to take a picture with her.
All the hype for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has definitely not been over-rated. This movie is equal, if not better than the first, which is almost rare for sequels!! Shia LaBeouf’s character, Sam Witwicky, returns as the center of an extraterrestrial robot war between the autobots and decepticons. His leading lady, Mikeala Banes played by FHM’s sexiest woman Megan Fox, helps her boy toy save the world once again.
So I’ll try not to give away too many details…The movie has the same concept as the first: several important artifacts, a love story, comedy, explosions, and a lot of fighting robots. What separates this movie from the first is the improvement in dialogue. Not going to lie, the dialogue in the first movie made me laugh harder than some of the jokes. At least in the second, we have some more substance other than, “Let’s go!”. Interestingly enough, the story of robot aliens continues to be fascinating because their past on Earth and other planets is revealed through the plot.
Last week, Michael Bay announced that he’s had enough of the “Transformers world.” Although I can’t be the judge of his personal opinion, this movie truly had some of the best and convincing special effects I’ve seen. I couldn’t imagine another director doing a better job.
So is there going to be a third? Rumor has it that a third movie is in the mix…but nothing has been officially announced. The ending isn’t exactly a cliff hanger, but leaves only one line for the possibility for a third movie.
Overall, the movie is awesome and definitely worth the 12 bucks to see it!
In a recent interview with UK magazine NOW, LaBeouf hinted at a possible relationship with Transformers co-star Megan Fox. He was quoted saying “It was amazing kissing her. I asked for like 12 takes so we could keep doing it! Maybe I’ll date her now she’s single.”
The pair celebrated Shia’s 23rd birthday together by going out to dinner together. Shia says that Megan got him a t-shirt. Not very romantic if you ask me.
Megan has recently split with fiancé Brian Austin Green, and is officially available.
I think they make a cute couple, if they decide to go for it. It might actually work, hey, it did for Brad and Angie, right?
