Spencer Pratt has just announced that he is QUITTING MTV’s The Hills in order to fight CYBER CRIME.  Yes, you read that correctly.

Pratt, 26, is currently studying software engineering with a focus on encryption at USC.  Instead of keeping his job on The Hills, he is hoping to land a job as a cyber security officer with the American Defense Enterprises.

Spencer Pratt explains it all to People magazine:

In the last few months I have discovered a new passion and new purpose to my life.  With this in mind, I have decided to take a break from my obligations to MTV’s ‘The Hills’ and discontinue filming any more episodes for this current season. Upon learning of President Obama’s declaration that the ‘cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation,’ I have decided to refocus my energy and devote my full resources to helping America face this and other unprecedented challenges.

‘I am saddened to take this break from filming.  At this time, however I feel I would not be honoring my country or myself if I were to continue this endeavor when I have the opportunity and the ability to assist our nation…’

Fear not though Hills fans.  Heidi Montag-Pratt plans to remain on the reality show for the time being.

Heidi Montag made a few jokes about her plastic surgery in this Funny or Die video, directed by Ron Howard.

Heidi talked to People about working with Ron Howard saying,

I was honored to work with the amazing Ron Howard.  He was even more incredible than I could have imagined — kind, generous and made me feel so comfortable — he made me feel confident in my talent.

There’s no stopping Speidi.  I don’t think there has ever been a celebrity that makes fun of their own plastic surgery.

Sunday, February 14th, marked the first Valentine’s Day Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt spent as husband and wife.  Spencer went all out and bought his wife lingerie from Fredericks of Hollywood — I know!  So romantic, right?? — I don’t think so.

Heidi, however, showed her hopeless romantic side and some writing skills by writing Spencer a poem.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt spent Valentine’s Day at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Spencer and Heidi were in Vegas to host a Valentine’s Day party at Pure nightclub.  Take a look at the photos of their suite, it was decorated by Fredericks of Hollywood.

Heidi Montag is upset about all the hate mail she’s been receiving since making her plastic surgery news public.

One hate mail in particular really got to Heidi.  Heidi is a very spirtual person so when a hater wrote her saying, her plastic surgery was against God’s will, Heidi was really saddened and now Spencer is stepping in to try and cheer her up.

According to a source,

Spencer ordered about seven bunches of flowers to cheer up Heidi because she’d received a letter or an email saying that her plastic surgery was against God’s will.

Heidi’s apparently very spiritual, so this kind of criticism really stings.

To make matters worse, Spencer doesn’t even like Heidi’s post surgery look and according to Hollyscoop, a friend said,

She looks like Cat Lady.  It’s all a little too much.

Spencer loved how Heidi looked before this surgery.  Because she’s still swollen and the surgery hasn’t settled yet, he’s a bit shocked.

Seems like everyone has an opinion on Heidi Montag’s face altering marathon surgery session, including Kelly Osbourne. The daughter of famous rocker Ozzy Osbourne was quoted saying:

“She was so pretty before, and now she looks like a Barbie doll – I feel sorry for Heidi, she’s obviously insecure. It’s the surgeon who should be ashamed – he should be struck off for giving her so much work when she clearly didn’t need it.”

Well duuuuh! Even though she states the obvious, few people disagree with Kelly. Friends and enemies alike are sounding off about Heidi’s new face.  Audrina Patridge was quoted saying ‘Ten procedures in one day is a little too much.’ Poor Heidi is only 23, and after the 10 procedure plastic surgery she had she essentially aged herself 15 years. She looks like a plastic trophy wife trying in vain to hold on to her fading youth. Sadly this is not what a twenty-something girl should look like, let along do to herself on purpose.

The Hills star defends her extensive surgery, saying that she is not addicted and she has to stay hot to keep working.  Yea, never mind the talent, it’s the fake boobs and vacant face that keep those paychecks rolling in.

“If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries; I mean 10 times. I really had two different surgeries. I had one three years ago, then one where I had several procedures done at once weeks ago… I am trying to be a pop star, and I just have my album that came out,” said Montag. “And, you know, it’s a very cutthroat industry. And it’s a very cutthroat business. And when Britney was in her prime, it was her sex appeal that sold. And without that sex appeal, I don’t know if she would have had the career she would have had.”

Too bad, like Kelly says, she was pretty before. Now she looks like a hot plastic mess.

Heidi Montag’s debut album, Superficial, is a complete BOMB.  The Hills star turned ‘pop singer’ has sold less than 1,000 copies of the CD in it’s first week of release.

To be exact, Spencer Pratt’s wife sold only 658 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

This might come as surprising news to Montag, who told Entertainment Weekly just last week:

“I put every dollar I have into this. I’ve spent over $1 million, almost $2 million, on this album. It’s cost as much or more than a Britney Spears album because I wanted it to be that quality… The songs will make an impact in pop history.”

Perhaps she should stick to her day job?  Wait.  Day job?

Heidi Montag debuted her new face outside her home and it’s kind of scary.

Yeah, it may be flawless, but she looks like a plastic Barbie doll.

After Heidi Montag admitted to having TEN plastic surgeries in just ONE day, several celebrities are now speaking out against the 23-year-old Hills star.  Maria Menounos, Audrina Patridge, Jewel and Emmy Rossum are just some of the stars who don’t necessarily agree with Montag’s choices.

Maria Menounos Tweeted:

“Heidi montag is on cover of people mag boasting about her new perfect look.I’m so disgusted…she was beautiful before..bad message.too much”

“Heidi is a sweet girl….this is so sad. Publicity and a career can’t be worth this. It just can’t!”

Of her co-star’s new features, Audrina Patridge said:

“I think it’s a case of, ‘To each their own,’ but 10 procedures in one day is a little much.”

Jewel also took to her twitter to talk about plastic surgery, saying:

“There r obviously good reasons 4 plastic surgery-its also fine w me if its 4 vanity-but if u have a deep self hatred, surgery wont fix it

Never had plastic surgery-even w wonky teeth & the biggest nose in the biz i feel proud of who i am-but not ruling out when im older though!”

Emmy Rossum had perhaps the strongest opinion, tweeting:

“It upsets me to see young women in the spotlight advocating plastic surgery. ANY surgery is extremely dangerous&should not be taken lightly, much less, used as a tool to increase notoriety or popularity.

By putting this on magazine covers, we are somehow legitimizing the dangerous lengths to which some will go for fame and “beauty”

There are so many REAL ISSUES in this world that NEED attention. Let’s try to take a moment to be grateful we are ALIVE.”
