Audrina Patridge from the MTV hit show The Hills has confirmed that she is getting her own spinoff show that will focus on her personal life and “career” (I don’t really know exactly what they’re referring to when they say “career” but I’m sure she has some…skills?)

Producer Mark Burnett says that he is excited about this new venture with Audrina, and that she has already proven her “star quality.”  If by “star quality” he means having eyes that are perma-high and scoring tiny roles in films that go straight to DVD **cough-Into The Blue 2-cough** then I agree, Audrina has proven her star quality!!

I know this show is going to be unbearably awful…but sadly I will watch it anyway….

Hopefully you Gossip Girl fans are also Brittany Snow fans, because Ms. Snow just scored the role of the young Lily Vanderwoodsen for the CW’s upcoming Gossip Girl spinoff.

The spinoff will center around Snow, who will be following in Kelly Rutherford’s footsteps as a young Lily Vanderwoodsen growing up in Los Angeles in the 1980s.  The pilot airs on May 11th and is expected to bring in huge ratings for the CW.

Personally, I like Brittany Snow, and if you saw Hairspray then you know she’s a natural when it comes to acting like a spoiled brat so she shouldn’t have any trouble playing Lily, but I feel like this could potentially be a bomb.  In my opinion, you’re playing with fire when you create a spinoff that airs while the original show is still running.  We’ll see if Brittany can pull it off come May!
