Super sexy Alessandra Ambrosio is the cover girl for the latest issue of DT Magazine and I don’t think it gets much hotter than this.

It’s a girl for Victoria’s Secret very own ‘Angel,’ Adriana Lima!

Lima, 28, and her husband, NBA star Marko Jaric named their baby girl Valentina.

After giving birth on Sunday, Victoria’s Secret Chief Marketing Officer, Ed Razek, released a statement saying:

“All of us at Victoria’s Secret are thrilled to welcome Adriana’s own little angel.  I jokingly asked her if she wanted to walk the runway in our annual fashion show this Thursday night and, for a minute, I thought she was going to take me up on it!  We congratulate her, and wish them all health and well being,”

Valentina is the first child for both Adriana and Marko.

Congrats!

This is just tragic.  Upon weight-gain rumors that flooded the internet, Gemma Ward has reportedly decided to retire from modeling.

The supermodel, who was romantically linked to Heath Ledger, disappeared from the fashion industry after his passing in January 2008.

Last week, The Sunday Telegraph reported that Ward was seen on the New York party circuit, celebrating her 22nd birthday with Sports Illustrated model Jessica Gomes.

One source told the publication:

“I was really surprised when I saw her, considering what she used to look like – I had to do a double-take after I saw how much weight she had put on.”

Fashion fans and critics have been attacking the young model’s weight for months now.  A spokeswoman for Viviens Modeling Agency announced that Gemma (who once was criticized for being too THIN) – has no immediate plans to return to the runway, saying:

“Gemma hasn’t committed to returning to modeling at any time soon.”

In 2007, Gemma raked in $3 million and was ranked the 11th highest-paid supermodel in the world by Forbes.

The runway will surely miss her.

Naomi Campbell has come out swinging again!

An Italian photographer is claiming that the Supermodel attacked him with her purse in Sicily. He is claiming that she injured his eye and scratched his face.

A Rep for Campbell has denied the claim and no police report has been filed in the town were the alleged attack has taken place.

I believe it….. When will this Broad learn????

Tyra Banks has no shame. She’s stooped to an all time low by suing 38 year old Jodi Hughes, mother of two and cancer survivor. Hughes’ two sons Jordan, 17 and Nick 10 (who by the way is also legally blind), had submitted their mother’s name to Tyra’s “Holiday Girl Party!” make over show. She had been previously digagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and lupus. Of course producers of the Tyra Banks show would jump all over an independent and strong woman… a true survivor. Well… the trouble started when Hughes and her sons showed up for the make over. The producers of the show had left Jordan and Nick on a curb outside the lot while their mother underwent her “transformation” without food, water, money, or transportation. Did I mention 10 year old Nick is BLIND!?!?!?! Hughes “makeover” consisted of a dress and a hairweave that she had to later get surgically removed due to a scalp infection.

Of course Tyra apologizes profusely and begs for forgivness for this terrible treatment towards Jodi right? WRONG. Tyra threatens to sue Hughes and instates a gag order against her. All Hughes wanted was an apology. No money. Just an apology. Nice Tyra. Nice. You’re not the next Oprah. Stop fooling yourself.

Luxury jeweller Van Cleef and Arpels sued “Project Runway” host Heidi Klum, claiming she copied a vintage clover jewelry design.

The suit, filed in Manhattan federal court, seeks more than $25,000 in damages from Heidi’s company Heidi Klum GmbH and Mouawad USA, another company she has designed jewellry for.

It said both companies attempted to gain benefit from Van Cleef’s esteemed reputation by creating and selling a similar clover design from Van Cleef’s vintage Alhambra jewelry line. Van Cleef & Arpels Inc is owned by luxury goods group Richemont.

Brazilan supermodel Gisele Bundchen is designing a women’s clothing line for Dolce & Gabbana which is said to be “chic and feminine.”

Gisele is the world’s highest paid supermodel, earning $33 million a year for endorsements and campaigns. She is #1 on Forbes top 15 Supermodels of the World.

She also hung up her Victoria’s Secret wings this year.
