Fashion Week is in full swing, and one rocker turned designer, Pete Wentz, blew the crowd away at his fashion show for Fashion Week in NYC. The guest list included wife Ashlee Simpson and the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ among others.  Pete’s fashion show also had a live performance by the band ‘Bad Rabbit’ and hip hop artist Shiddy BangBang (new artist on Pete’s label Crush).

Then after the show ended and long after Pete debuted this infamous outfit, the stylish crowd including Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson, Nicole Richie, and Joel Madden made their way downtown to the posh ‘Andaz Hotel’ for Pete Wentz’s Clandestine Industries after party. The close knit crowd then celebrated the Richie/Madden wedding announcement with TY KU Sake!! The party didn’t end there, the group kept the celebration going by kicking it over to New York’s newest hotspot Red Velvet where Ex-Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon sipped on soju and ate cupcakes! Yum!

Adrienne was also spotted earlier in the night, in the front rows of the Walter fashion show.  The prime front row real estate were packed with members of MTV’s ‘The City,’ including Samantha Swetra and Erin Lucas, and ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey.’ Designer Walter was gifted the drink of the night, TY KU White Ultra Premium Sake, following the show, and was heard gushing over having “the best sake in the world.”

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Ben Nemtin said he is dating Whitney Port from MTV’s ‘The City’. Ben Nemtin is from MTV’s ‘The Buried Life’. We here at Hollywire tweeted about this yesterday, so it was nice of Ryan to confirm the big news.
said Nemtin:

“I have kinda been hanging out with Whitney when I am in New York.” He goes on to say “We just met and we just starting hanging out, whenever I’m in New York.”

Which is to travel around and complete a list of things they want to do before they die, and help other people do the same. So for every item they tick off their list, they must then do one thing for a complete stranger.

Roxy Olin from ‘The City’ tried to enjoy a nice Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend, Alex Lobel, but it was ruined by some creep who stole her cell phone and held it for ransom.

Roxy had left her cell phone in a cab and the stranger who found it refused to give it back until she paid $100.  Roxy, told HollywoodLife.com,

We had dinner, but it was a little bit spoiled.  I’ll have to make it up somehow.  He’s a trooper.  He’s patient.  He’s really sweet and understanding, and he deals with all my craziness.  I don’t know how he does it.  I’m a lunatic, so he’s a really sweet guy.

In the end the Alex paid the creep $60 and got Roxy’s phone back.

The City star, Whitney Port, took to her personal blog to reveal her 2010 New Year’s Resolutions!

Whitney said:

Hi and a very very very HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!! It’s officially 2010 and time to start living up to those resolutions! As mama always says, actions speak louder than words.  I have quite a few resolutions actually and need to get them off my chest so that someone can hold me responsible for them!!

1. Show how much I care and love about those at home by keeping better in touch
2. Join a Book Club
3. Not be such a flake (I only flake because I’m such a homebody, it’s never personal)

Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter account to laugh at the ‘lies’ The New York  Daily News printed on Thursday.

The newspaper published a story stating that Lohan was dating Gucci model, Adam Senn.  Senn also appeared on Whitney Port’s MTV show, The City.

Of the article, Lohan tweeted:

“hahahahahahahahahaha such lies.  Google Poverty.”

Lindsay is currently in India filming a documentary to help fight child victims of trafficking.

Of her experience thus far, the actress tweeted:

“Focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting, when we can be changing the world one child at a time…. hope everyone can see that.”

Some of the best things come out of NYC-high fashion, great food, great art. I mean we’ve seen all these elements on MTV’s The CIty,  Gossip Girl and also Sex And The City now that we think about it.

New York, New York is even further on top now that the city is celebrating the 27th World Series Title for their beloved baseball team-the Yankees. 

Last night, the New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the play offs and won the 2009 World Series. Derek Jeter, a Yankee and celeb fav (he’s dated Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, even Vanessa Minillo) was all smiles as he and his team mates checked out their championship trophy. 

New York City’s mayor has scheduled a parade through Manhattan Friday to honor the Yankees. “I wanna wake up in that city that doesn’t sleep” and celebrate in the Big Apple too. Don’t you?

If you are a Gossip Girl fan, then you know Hilary Duff has currently been guest starring in season 3 as actress (and fashionista), Olivia Burke.

Well, the Duffster has a new project lined up, an ABC Family movie, ‘The Business of Falling in Love.” If you ask us, it sounds pretty similar to her GG stint — mixed with a dash of Sex & The City (Or Whitney Port’s, The City).

Set in New York, Duff will play a struggling fashion reporter with a designer clothing obsession – who of course (no surprise here)… is looking for love!

The movie is based on the book “The Diary Of a Working Girl” by Daniella Brodsky and started filming this week.

Season one of The City is in full swing and it’s hard to keep up with all that drama, so J-14 met up with Whitney Port for a little Q & A session that’ll keep us in the loop.

J-14: So what is going to be new and different about the new episodes of The City?

Whitney: I’m moving into a new place, I switch my job, I have some new people coming in and out of my life!  I realized that what I came to New York to do was to design my clothing line and I felt like I wasn’t being true to myself and proactively going for it.  So I went to Kelly and we discussed a game plan: she told me I could work for freelance at People’s Revolution and design my line on the side using one of her showrooms as a studio space.  This season shows me on that whole journey doing what I came here to do.  Also, now I’m dating, which is different because last season I had a full on relationship!

J-14:  Will ex-boyfriend Jay be on this season at all?

Whitney: You see a little bit of him.  I like to keep in touch with my exes and I’ve been fortunate enough to end on a good note with them.  It’s always been important to me because it’s crazy how you can love someone so much one second and hate them the next.  I just find it really bizarre!

J-14:  We’ve been introduced to some new friends this season, but do you still keep in touch with Lauren Conrad?

Whitney: Yes, we do.  We talk quite a lot.  Recently, she was in New York for the VMA’s and presenting at the VH1 Diva’s Event!

J-14:  How is it having your parents watch you go on dates on television?

Whitney: It’s very, very strange but the good thing about it is that I’m really close to my parents and I would probably tell them every detail anyways so I’m not really afraid about how they’re going to judge it.  I think the key is to be honest with your parents.  They’re not the enemy, you know?

J-14:  What have you learned about yourself from doing the show?

Whitney: I think I’ve learned that if I really set my mind to something and really motivate myself in that direction I can get anything done.  I grew up with a family that kind of always took care of me.  They were always doting over me and I was always like a helpless little child.  I think it’s been a really big learning experience to be on my own and realize I can conquer things without having someone rescue me.

Whitney Port from The City was spotted back with her ex boyfriend and her The City co-star Jay Lyon in New York City today.  There were rumors last week that Whitney had started moving on with Lipstick Jungle Hottie McHotterson Robert Buckley, which would have been the smart thing to do, but apparently she’s settling for Cheatie McCheaterson Jay.

YES!!!!!! YES YES YES…this is awesome.  Whitney Port from The Hills and her own recent spinoff The City, has reportedly rebounded from her breakup with Tamarama singer Jay Lyon, with none other than hottie mc-hot-hot, Lipstick Jungle star ROBERT BUCKLEY!

First of all, Whitney you just got a definite UPGRADE, and you deserve it after putting up with Jay’s crap for so long.  OK! is reporting that the two were in Miami together this week for a little spring break fun in the sun and were very publicly romantic with eachother.
