People Magazine won the bid for the first official pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins, Vivianne and Knox, for a hefty sum of $15 million! The cash will no doubt be donated to charity. Thats how they roll

That is by far the largest price tag paid for baby pictures. It breaks down like this:

Other stars choose to snub getting paid such as Nicole Kidman whose reps said that

“They don’t think it’s appropriate to make deals. They are still deciding how they feel about (it) - if and when they will release a photo at all. But they realize there is enormous interest from the public and they are grateful and appreciative of that.”

Well maybe no one wanted to pony up the cash?? Well in case you were thinking that was the case then, her publicists had this to say about that:

“I promise you that neither Nicole Kidman, nor her reps, negotiated with ANYONE. Baby photos were never for sale and will never be for sale. We had a bunch of publications approach us and OFFER money. We told them we weren’t in the market! All the usual suspects.

We were never even going to discuss this issue, since it’s pretty tasteless, but the press has been generating the story on its own, so I’d like to set the record straight.”

What-ever! Just do like Brad and Angie and donate to a good cause, no one says you have to keep the cash!

Ugly Betty star, Rebecca Romijn and husband, actor Jerry O’Connell, are expecting twins, reports US Weekly.

People reports that the babies will be girls and were conceived without the help of invitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid.

A spokesperson for Romijn, 35, and O’Connell, 34, confirmed the news this morning.

A source reveals, “Jerry couldn’t be happier about becoming a dad.”

The babies will be the first children for the pair. Jerry and Rebecca met in 2004; he proposed a year later. The couple got married in Los Angeles in July 2007.

US Weekly is claiming that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt used in vitro fertilization to conceive their twins. Makes sense, as the chances of having fraternal twins at Angelina’s age naturally, she’s 33, is under 1%. But with in-vitro the chances become 25%. I know I was thinking some medical intervention had to have occurred for Angie to have fraternal twins, unless she was eating a lot of yams. The source for US said that:

The actress chose the procedure (which can cost around $12,000 a pop) so “she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant,” the source tells Us. “She could just knock it out.”

The twins are of course Knox and Vivienne, born in France on July 12th. Both Brad and Angelina have said that they want 10 kids, and given their age, it is no wonder that they would want to ‘knock them out’

They have 6 kids total now with Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and biological daughter Shiloh, 2.

Angelina Jolie has really given birth this time! I swear!! The happy couple welcomed a son and a daughter Saturday evening at the seaside La Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice, the actress’ obstetrician tells E! News.

Twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were delivered via cesarean section about 6 p.m. local time.

“Brad and Angelina are extremely happy and everything went perfectly,” Dr. Michel Sussmann the obstetrician who delivered the twins tells E! News. “Both of the babies are adorable and in excellent ?health and everyone’s content and getting some much deserved rest. [Brad, Angelina and the twins] are all tired but very, very happy.”

Knox was born first at 6:45 pm and 5.03 pounds, and Vivienne followed at 7pm and 5 pounds.

Brad stayed by Angie’s side during the operation, which took place earlier than expected (it was rumored that the C-section was going to take place this Tuesday). Sussmann told the Associated Press the procedure was pushed up “for medical reasons,” but declined to elaborate.

Jolie should be allowed to leave within a few days. Usually a four day recovery is standard after a C-section.

No word yet from the couple’s camp.

The actual arrival comes weeks after it was erroneously reported that Jolie and Pitt had welcomed twin girls, Isla Marcheline and Amélie Jane, named in honor of the A-listers’ own parents (Jolie’s late mother was named Marcheline; Pitt’s is Jane).

Earlier Saturday, reports surfaced indicating Jolie had given birth to twin girls, but a hospital spokeswoman said the stories had “wrong information.”

The newest additions are welcomed by the Jolie-Pitt brood including Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2, who have been under the care of Haven and an army of nannies.

They are the Brady Bunch for this generation!

Entertainment Tonight aired a story about Angelina Jolie giving birth to her twins despite being repeatedly told that the report was based on false information told by someone impersonating Jolie’s assistant.

ET claimed Wednesday that it knew nothing about the impersonator before the broadcast. The identity of the impostor has remained unknown.

According to an ET executive the report of the twins birth started with ET producer Sharlette Hambrick, receiving a BlackBerry e-mail address that was supposedly  Jolie’s assistant, Holly Goline’s. An e-mail was sent to the address asking if the swirling reports that Jolie had her twins was true. An e-mail was returned to the producer saying “Yes she did. I was actually in the room with her. They are doing fine and so is mom.”

So on Friday morning, the show posted on it’s Website and sent out e-mail alert to media outlets saying it had confirmed the birth of Jolie’s twins. The Associated Press picked up the report and the rumor spread. Entertainment Tonight did not name its source at the time. It later revealed that the report was based on e-mails from someone it thought was Jolie assistant Holly Goline.

Shortly after the story was posted, Goline told Entertainment Tonight that she was not the one corresponding with the news network. The account was confirmed by someone else close to Jolie.

“Entertainment Tonight was told before the broadcast that their information came from an impostor,” said the second person. There were several conversations on Friday by e-mail, via text message, and by telephone between ET and Goline. Meanwhile the story was challenged by other celebrity news outlets.

The TV show stood by its story and Friday night, with host Mary Hart saying on the air, “Just this morning, a source who says she was inside the delivery room tells us yes, the babies were born and yes, mother and babies are fine.”

The show said in a statement Wednesday that they didn’t learn about the impostor  until a letter was given to them from Jolie’s attorney Monday- three days after the broadcast. They then also supposedly learned that Goline doesn’t have a BlackBerry address so she couldn’t have made the baby comment.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcome the newest additions to their family. The babies are named Island Marcheline (after Angelina’s late mom) and Amelie Jane (in honor of Brad’s mother). Angie gave birth in a Catholic clinic in the south of France in the Aix-en-Provence on Sunday, May 25th.

The brood of beauties arrived in France late April for the Cannes Film Festival and for Angie to promote her newest film, Kung Fu Panda. It was then during an interview that Angie finally confirmed the pregnancy rumors. A friend of the family says that mom and twins are doing fine, despite the fact that the twins seemed to have arrived over a month earlier than the due date Angie told the press. Congrats to the happy family!

Update: Apparently the early media reports were wrong and Brangelina have not had the babes yet!

While doing a promo in Cannes, France for the animated film Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black made a comment that Angelina Jolie was expecting twins. When asked if this was true Angie replied, (much to Jack’s surprise) yes, it was true. I saw the interview (Done by Morales, which will air on the Today Show) and Jack truly looks shocked!

Black: “You’re gonna have as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these.”

Morales: “So is that confirmed? Is it two?”

Angelina, who was seated next to Jack, confirmed the rumor.

So there you have it, a hotter version of the Brady Bunch in real life! …Well sort of.

Brangelia is due in the summer, though she did not give specifics, just that she will give birth in a few months. In France no doubt!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony spent $1.4 million dollars on the births of their babies.

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to a healthy baby boy and girl at North Shore University Hosptial in New York on February 22. A source says that Lopez shelled out $700,000 to reserve the luxurious birthing suite in the hospital. She also spent $175,000 per week for the suit, which was reserved three weeks before she checked in.

The suit has a large Apple computer monitor, private kitchen, two flat-screen tv’s, and white couches.

The couple also paid $300,000 for private doctors and nurses, $300,000 for security, and $100,000 for a personal assistant.

And according to InTouch magazine, an insider claims that they heard the couple calling their twins, Maximiano and Emelina

Jennifer Lopez delivered a baby girl, weighing in at 5 lbs. 7 oz. & a baby boy, weighin 6lbs. The girl arrived first at 12:12 a.m. & the little dude followed only 11 minutes later (12:23 a.m.). A rep for Jennifer said, “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled, and over the moon.”
