Miley Cyrus is “Still Hurt” by ‘Vanity Fair’ Photos

Posted on 28 June 2008 by Loretta

In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, Miley Cyrus admits that her Vanity Fair photos “still hurt.”

Miley Cyrus’ First Kiss Photo Is Worth $150,000

Miley said,

I was embarrassed, but also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong.  I think that just makes me more relatable.  I don’t think people will look at me any differently because they’re like, ‘You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine.’  It still hurts when I think about it-but you know what, it doesn’t mean that you can’t move on.

Like you know what Miley, stop bringing it up and move on then!  The rest of the world already has.

Bill Clinton & Gina Gershon Affair?

Posted on 03 June 2008 by CeCe

In a recent Vanity Fair article entitled “The Comeback Id,” writer Todd Purdum alleges that former President Bill Clinton was “seeing a lot of women on the road” and “running with a fast crowd,” and claims his behavior was getting so out of control that an assistant considered an intervention.

Um… how does Purdum have proof of this? I don’t think a picture will suffice as all the evidence.

Bill Clinton & Gina Gershon Affair?

The article focuses primarily on Clinton’s relationships with women, including actress Gina Gershon, billionaire Belinda Stronach, and a “female friend” in Chappaqua.

Clinton responded by unleashing a “tirade” against the former New York Times reporter, calling him “sleazy,” “dishonest,” “slimy,” and a “scumbag.”

Those are some very choice words, Bill. Almost too angry…are you over-compensating in order to hide your guilt? That would make an amazing story, but I don’t think so. This is just an outrageous claim made by the writer.

Bill Clinton & Gina Gershon Affair?

He also sent out a memo calling the piece “journalism of personal destruction at it’s worst.”

The memo states:

TO: Interested Parties
FROM: Office of President Clinton
RE: Vanity Fair Article on President Clinton
DATE: June 1, 2008

A tawdry, anonymous quote-filled attack piece, published in this month’s Vanity Fair magazine regarding former President Bill Clinton repeats many past attacks on him, ignores much prior positive coverage, includes numerous errors, and ultimately breaks no new ground. It is, in short, journalism of personal destruction at its worst.

Any balanced account of President Clinton’s post-presidency - which other publications have referred to as one of “a great philanthropist;” the face of “the power of philanthropy” and “a major force in fighting the pandemic [HIV/AIDS]” - would recognize that the lion’s share of his work is his multi-million dollar charitable foundation, which works in almost 50 countries around the world. [The Economist, 9/23/06; Fortune Magazine, 9/7/06; The Wall Street Journal, 1/14/04] Vanity Fair, however, has chosen to publish thousands of words on former President Clinton, but to devote only a single paragraph to his enormous charitable accomplishments.

Bill Clinton & Gina Gershon Affair?

Gina Gershon…really?? I think that is a bit far-fetched!

Even though we all kinda know Bill is a ‘ladies man’ of sorts I don’t think it went that far.

I wonder if Hillary is upset?

Poor Bill can never catch a break…

Angelina Jolie on the Cover of Vanity Fair

Posted on 31 May 2008 by Loretta

Angelina Jolie is on the cover of the July 2008 issue of Vanity Fair.

Angelina-Jolie-Vanity-Fair

In her interview with Vanity Fair, Jolie talks about her childhood, nannies, and raising an international family. Here is a preview of the interview.

On being pregnant with twins: I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. I t makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.

On daughter Shiloh’s birth: We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing… I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.

On nannies never sleeping over: We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher - wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Belgium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.

I love how she says that the nannies work with them not for them. How many parents in Hollywood have you heard say that? Not too many.

Miley Cyrus Topless in ‘Vanity Fair’

Posted on 27 April 2008 by Loretta

Miley Cyrus [Celebrity Parasite] will appear in the next issue of Vanity Fair TOPLESS![Hollywood Backwash]

Miley-Cyrus

The teen star did a photo shoot for Vanity Fair in which she appears to be sitting down topless covering herself with a sheet. I wonder if it is even legal to take photos like these and publish them since she is only 15 years old. And what parent would allow it? Apparently Miley’s. Both parents attended the photo shoot[ninjadude] but claim they had left before the last photos were taken. A source said:

Miley’s grandmother and her teacher were there when she shot it. Annie convinced them it was going to be artistic. Her parents are mortified. They know this is a learning moment for Miley.

Miley Cyrus in ‘Vanity Fair’

With all the bad publicity that Miley has been getting from the photo shoot, she decided to issue a statement to People magazine today, April 27, saying:

I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.

Miley also addressed her controversial internet photos in her statement saying:

The pictures of me on the internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.

We can only hope that Miley’s downward spiral stops here. German Vanity Fair Online is already calling her the next Britney Spears, and I think everyone is beginning to agree.
