3-year-old Cruz Beckham was recently spotted sucking away on a pacifier.
Most pediatricians recommend that the pacifier be taken away by 12 months of age. Prolonged use of a pacifier could lead to delays in speech development. I guess that doesn’t concern David and Victoria Beckham, after all, they can afford the best speech therapist around.
Cruz isn’t the only celeb toddler to keep his pacifier well beyond the recommended age. Kingston Rossdale still has one at age 2.
And don’t forget about Violet Affleck, who was photographed just after her 2nd birthday with a pacifier in her mouth.
So why is it that Suri Cruise with a bottle makes headlines everywhere, but Cruz Beckham with a pacifier doesn’t even get noticed?
Is it because society is more accepting of the Beckham family than the Cruise family or is it because people just love to hate on Tom and Katie?
Last year Victoria Beckham guest starred on ABC’s hit show, Ugly Betty. Now it looks like she is gonna pull a Britney Spears on How I Met Your Mother and return for another guest spot!
Except she’s upping the anty- it’s being reported that she is returning next season with a regular guest spot on the show.
The last time she was on the show was November. She was Vanessa Williams’ character’s maid of honor. And she even played herself… what a diva! No word yet on if she will be playing herself again for the upcoming role.
You didn’t see that when Naomi (or maybe even Lindsay- if she actually gets to) guest starred! Go Posh!

Victoria Beckham, or as we all know and love her as David Beckham’s lucky wife Posh Spice, has agreed to shed some skin and join the Pussycat Dolls in Vegas. Her performance will only be a one-off show in June, but still, it’s going to be amazing!
Alisa Boushey, the spokeswoman for the Pussycat Dolls, said today:
“Victoria’s been in talks with the Dolls for some time and will be joining them onstage. She would have done it sooner, but it’s a question of her busy schedule. But it will be happening very soon.”
The Pussycat Dolls perform regular shows in Vegas alongside occasional celebrities. The likes of which have included Charlize Theron, Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Eva Longoria and Brittany Murphy.
Move over, ladies, Posh belongs at the top of that list!
And I can’t wait to see what her outfit is going to be, I have a feeling she has quite the kinky side.
A ‘posh’ party is planned for this weekend, at the Beckham’s LA mansion, in celebration of the birthdays of both Victoria Beckham and David Beckham. Awwwww! They can share the spotlight! It’s so endearing… Posh turned 34 just a couple days ago, on the 16th, and hunky Becks will be 33 in two weeks. Backstage Creations, a PR firm, will be making the swag bags for the couple’s 25 V.I.P guests.
Posh had her own small shindig at the Pink Taco restaurant yesterday with her studly hubby and kids. Nice to know that even though the woman is worth millions, she still knows how to keep it fun and down to earth. Go on with your 34 year old self… work it! Girl, you don’t look a day over 25!
Victoria Beckham celebrated her 34th birthday yesterday at the hip mexican restaurant, Pink Taco, at Westfield mall in Century City. Her husband, David was there to enjoy the small party with their three sons, Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3.
Little Cruz is the superstar in training! Besides from his break dancing skills, we now can see how he has learned to emulate an interesting gesture his famous papa.
Here is Cruz’s hand gesture with a photo of his father in a similar pose at Euro 2000, the European Football Championships. This sure is a classic example of like father, like son!
Victoria Beckham’s clothing line is being pulled from Fred Segal and Kitsons due to lack of product sales and promotion. InTouch magazine reports:
Posh’s DVB denim range is being dropped due to poor sales and a lack of promo work from the Spice Girl herself. “We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn’t,” said Kitson owner, Fraser Ross. “Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell.”
This baffles me because what else is Victoria doing with her time? I mean how hard is it to show up to a couple of events and take a a few pictures to promote your clothing line? I understand that she has kids, but come on, they’re not taking up all her time. What do I care?…like I was ever going to buy her clothes anyway.

Have you seen the video of Cruz Beckham break dancing on stage at the Spice Girl’s concert in New York? It’s adorable and awesome–little Cruz has some serious moves for a 2.9 year old (he turned 3 years old two days after his world stage break dancing debut). Each of the Spice Girls brought all their little kidlets onto the stage at Madison Square Garden while performing the song, “Mama,” and little Cruz busted away from the group and started break dancing like a pro–he was doing all kinds of little tricks & had serious rhythm & flair!
The Madison Square Garden holds approximately 20,000 guests and the crowd was going absolutely nuts every time he busted a move and it just fueled him on–he’s a gutsy little thing.
Mel B started laughing a bit mid-song and said, “That’s brilliant!” At the end of the song Posh told her son, “That was some great break dancing!”
The next day, Geri, told reporters, “Victoria’s son Cruz was a little star.”
The tour is winding down now, with only 6 shows remaining. Geri said, “…it’s rather like a countdown. I feel a mixture of sadness and joy. I know it is time to come home but I will miss everyone from the tour.”
