In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Ben Nemtin said he is dating Whitney Port from MTV’s ‘The City’. Ben Nemtin is from MTV’s ‘The Buried Life’. We here at Hollywire tweeted about this yesterday, so it was nice of Ryan to confirm the big news.
said Nemtin:

“I have kinda been hanging out with Whitney when I am in New York.” He goes on to say “We just met and we just starting hanging out, whenever I’m in New York.”

Which is to travel around and complete a list of things they want to do before they die, and help other people do the same. So for every item they tick off their list, they must then do one thing for a complete stranger.

Kim Kardashian knows how to fly comfy and stylish!  Kim carries on comfort with her own pillow from home, but rocks those boots! YOWZA!  She is fierce!

Whitney Port from ‘The Hills’ needs to go running into the hills with that hot mess of an outfit!  Head to toe, it is just wrong.  From the ugly ballerina flats, to the oddly shredded leggings, all the way up to that snakeskin bag and grandmother wrap.  Poor Port does not have a clue!  I get that you are flying, and you want comfort, but girl you know you are going to get photographed!  All that’s missing is a cardboard sign and a guitar case with a few bills and some change…

Julianna Margulies shows us how a wrap is done!  ‘The Good Wife’ star is sans make up, very casual, but is able to pull it off.  Julianna pulled her hair back into a cute up-do that it photo friendly, but is still reasonable for air travel.  I see her pairing a classic denim jean with a comfy (but stylish) wrap, (are listening Whitney?!) making this a great outfit for the friendly skies.

‘30 Rock’ star Jane Krakowski has fashionable air travel down!  Ladies, take note!  Jane matches a mid thigh leather coat with dark wash denim and knee high boots.  Work it girl!  Jane manages to get those tousled locks look perfect right off the plane, that takes skill!  Can I just say I want those boots?!  What size shoe do you wear?  Swap-zies?

Classic crooner Josh Groban manages his over the shoulder carry-on with ease as he makes is way off the flight.  Bundled up in a classic pea coat and no muss no fuss jeans is how men handle air travel in a relaxed but put together way.

Oh Ricky Gervais!  If you are not at the gym, then you are not in a tracksuit!  ‘The Golden Globe’ host was spotted in this big fashion don’t.  Mr. Gervais needs to take notes from Mr. Groban on how to properly dress for flight.  You can be comfortable but well put together at the same time.  Especially in LAX, it is crawling with paparazzi just waiting to take your picture.  Natch

Our favorite ’sassy’ and ‘hard headed’ fashionista Kelly Cutrone has landed her own reality show on Bravo called Kell on Earth!

As the founder of People’s Revolution and former boss to MTV’s Hills star Lauren Conrad and  Whitney Port, this lady-in-charge  definitely has a way in breaking down and chewing out all aspiring designers.

With the show debuting next month, it will give viewers a look at Kelly’s life as a busy career woman as well as a single mother. Take a look at the video below for a preview of all the runway shows and designer tears we have to look forward too!

Hi and a very very very HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!! It’s officially 2010 and time to start living up to those resolutions! As mama always says, actions speak louder than words.  I have quite a few resolutions actually and need to get them off my chest so that someone can hold me responsible for them!!

1. Show how much I care and love about those at home by keeping better in touch

3. Not be such a flake (I only flake because I’m such a homebody, it’s never personal)

If you are a Gossip Girl fan, then you know Hilary Duff has currently been guest starring in season 3 as actress (and fashionista), Olivia Burke.

Well, the Duffster has a new project lined up, an ABC Family movie, ‘The Business of Falling in Love.” If you ask us, it sounds pretty similar to her GG stint — mixed with a dash of Sex & The City (Or Whitney Port’s, The City).

Set in New York, Duff will play a struggling fashion reporter with a designer clothing obsession – who of course (no surprise here)… is looking for love!

The movie is based on the book “The Diary Of a Working Girl” by Daniella Brodsky and started filming this week.

Season one of The City is in full swing and it’s hard to keep up with all that drama, so J-14 met up with Whitney Port for a little Q & A session that’ll keep us in the loop.

J-14: So what is going to be new and different about the new episodes of The City?

Whitney: I’m moving into a new place, I switch my job, I have some new people coming in and out of my life!  I realized that what I came to New York to do was to design my clothing line and I felt like I wasn’t being true to myself and proactively going for it.  So I went to Kelly and we discussed a game plan: she told me I could work for freelance at People’s Revolution and design my line on the side using one of her showrooms as a studio space.  This season shows me on that whole journey doing what I came here to do.  Also, now I’m dating, which is different because last season I had a full on relationship!

J-14:  Will ex-boyfriend Jay be on this season at all?

Whitney: You see a little bit of him.  I like to keep in touch with my exes and I’ve been fortunate enough to end on a good note with them.  It’s always been important to me because it’s crazy how you can love someone so much one second and hate them the next.  I just find it really bizarre!

J-14:  We’ve been introduced to some new friends this season, but do you still keep in touch with Lauren Conrad?

Whitney: Yes, we do.  We talk quite a lot.  Recently, she was in New York for the VMA’s and presenting at the VH1 Diva’s Event!

J-14:  How is it having your parents watch you go on dates on television?

Whitney: It’s very, very strange but the good thing about it is that I’m really close to my parents and I would probably tell them every detail anyways so I’m not really afraid about how they’re going to judge it.  I think the key is to be honest with your parents.  They’re not the enemy, you know?

J-14:  What have you learned about yourself from doing the show?

Whitney: I think I’ve learned that if I really set my mind to something and really motivate myself in that direction I can get anything done.  I grew up with a family that kind of always took care of me.  They were always doting over me and I was always like a helpless little child.  I think it’s been a really big learning experience to be on my own and realize I can conquer things without having someone rescue me.

Is anybody noticing that MTV’s hit “reality TV” show The Hills is slowly losing its cast members? First it was Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port, who now has her own show, ‘The City‘. Then it was Audrina Patridge, who recently revealed that she is getting her own reality show with less drama and less script. And now Stephanie Pratt just told Hollyscoop that she and Lo Bosworth, are thinking about leaving along with Audrina after the season’s last 10 episodes.

On if this new venture is because of the show’s newest addition, the super b**ch Kristin Cavallri: “It’s not because of Kristin. I was going to stay and see what happens after these ten episodes, but I just don’t think I can stand The Hills anymore. The Hills is very brutal.”

On if Kristin is really as horrible in real life as she is on the show: “It’s not the question of her being that bad. Its more like is she for real?”

On if she thinks Kristin will be a good addition to the show: “I think the show is going to be so awesome. It’s not going to be boring like all the other shows where they only focus on their work. It’s going to be new people, new characters, which equals new story lines. It’s going to be a completely different show. We’ve all grown up. It’s not the original girls moving to LA trying to make it. Right now everyone’s fighting to be the queen or king of LA.”
