We've long known that One Direction is pretty damn fascinating, but apparently Barbara Walters has gotten the memo too.

Baba Wawa has added the boy band to her special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012, which will air December 12th on ABC. It's the first time that 1D has received the nod from Barbara, but it also means they're NOT the most fascinating people of the year. The winner is always kept a tight-lipped secret until the night of the show.
