2013 awards season is officially underway! The madness started Wednesday night at the People's Choice Awards, the unique award show where winners are chosen entirely by the fans, rather than guilds, academies, or professional critics.

The show named winners in all categories (TV, Movies and Music), resulting in a variety of winners -- and even some surprises. For instance, The Wanted took home the award for Best Breakout Artist, beating out usual fan favorite One Direction, and showed their excitement over a rare award win against their fellow British boyband members.
