All hail Blue Ivy Carter! Beyonce and Jay-Z (and the rest of the world) are celebrating their daughter’s first birthday today, and why today isn’t a national holiday is beyond us.

Within the past year, Baby Blue has become the celebrity child of 2012. All eyes were on Beyonce’s growing bump ever since she dropped that microphone and flaunted it for all to see at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Or how about the chaos that ensued on January 7^th, 2012, when B.I.C. was born?

The bitter custody battle between Usher and his ex, Tameka Foster, has finally come to a close. The judge presiding over the case has granted Usher primary custody of his two children, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd. The news must have come as a devastating blow to Tameka, who recently lost her 11-year-old son Kile in an inner-tubing accident last month, as she was claimed Usher was an "absentee father."

Kyle Glover, Usher's 11-year-old stepson, passed away early this morning after doctors remove him from life support, TMZ reports.

The young boy was declared brain dead after a tragic jet ski accident that occurred on July 8 on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia. Suffering what doctors said were injuries "too severe to overcome," Kyle's mother, Tameka Foster, had to make the toughest decision ever, giving doctors the ok to take her son off life support.
