Winter’s nearly over, and warm weather will be here before we know it. A couple of stars have gotten the jump on it by shedding their locks and going for an ultra-short boy’s haircut.

Miley Cyrus already made a splash last year by going platinum with a much edgier ‘do than Hannah Montana ever sported, and lately she’s gone even shorter with a boyish faux hawk (which she busted out for New York Fashion Week today).

The ever-glamorous Charlize Theron has also gotten in on the action with an even shorter cut. So we have a simple question for you: who rocks it better?

Cameron Diaz went on the Tonight Show on Tuesday and told the real story behind her short haircut early this year -- it was the result of a misunderstanding!

Cameron explained that rather than going to a fancy salon, she gets her hair cut by a good friend, in her friend's kitchen. This time around, when she saw how much has actually been cut off, she burst into tears. "I felt so vulnerable," she said. "For a woman to all of a sudden have no hair, oh my god... I felt really bad, shefelt really bad, she started crying, I started crying, a couple of other peoplestarted crying."

So has Cameron forgiven her scissor-happy friend?
