After all of her professional success in the second half of 2012, Katie Holmes was probably overdue for a lull in that department.

Her Broadway play Dead Accounts premiered to mixed reviews last November and is now closing seven weeks ahead of schedule. The final show will be on January 6, well before the planned end date of February 24, according to E! Online.
