If you're making a film and want the most bang for your buck, give Natalie Portman and Kristen Stewart a call. (We know a certain director who already picked up on this tip with K-Stew, though...)

The two leading ladies are among the most highly paid actresses in Hollywood, but there's a good reason for that: they have the best track record in making money. Forbes looked at the last three films that actors have starred in over the last three years, calculating the return on investment for the studios who pay their salary. Natalie topped the list, returning studios $42.70 for every dollar she's paid. Compare that to Eddie Murphy, the most overpaid star on their list, who returns a paltry $2.30 for every dollar he's paid.

There are lot of tours and albums that take place in a 12-month window, but only one artist can call themselves the highest paid musician in the business!

Forbes just released their annual list of the highest-paid musicians on the globe between May 2011-May 2012 and the biggest musical money-maker may surprise you. Hint: It wasn't Britney Spears, who came in second with $58 million (boosted, no doubt, by her hefty payday for judging on The X Factor). Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber didn't earn the top spot either, finishing at third and fourth with an impressive $57 million and $55 million, respectively.

Tom Cruise may be struggling personally, but it looks like he's doing just fine financially.

The Rock of Ages star was listed as the highest paid actor in Hollywood, pulling in a whopping $75 MILLION between May 2011-May 2012! That's according to Forbes. Most of that dough came from his role in the 2011 flick Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol, which made $700 million at the box office worldwide, as well as the salary for his movie Oblivion that will hit theaters next April. Two movies for $75 million sounds like a good deal to us!
