It was only a matter of time, but it's still a huge deal: Ellen DeGeneres got her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

The talk show host and comedian was the 2,477th recipient of that accolade and was cheered on by other celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and Jimmy Kimmel, according to E! Online."I'm getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today at 11am," she tweeted. "Come watch me! Also, I'd love a ride home. 6270 Hollywood Blvd."

There will be 24 new stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013 and the celebrities, who's names will be featured on those stars, were recently announced.

Comedian/talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, is amongst those selected, as well as Usher, James Franco, New Kids on the Block, The Backstreet Boys and Ron Howard.

It has just been announced that Jennifer Aniston's long overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will be unveiled next week!

She'll be receiving the honor just two days before the opening of her new film Wanderlust, which co-stars Paul Rudd and Aniston's real-life love Justin Theroux.
