It's been a while since Tom Cruise reminded us why he was once known as a badass. Jumping on a couch on Oprah, his lackluster performance in Rock of Ages, and suing gossip mags for $50 million because they hurt his feelings haven't done much to bring us back to the Top Gun days. 

Then we saw this photo and almost all was forgiven in one glorious image. The first photo was released from Tom's new futuristic action flick All You Need is Kill and features him in a metal mechanical suit running from a giant fireball. We're pretty sure he was told to envision the fireball as a swarm of paparazzi in preparing for that scene...
