Johnny Lewis, the former co-star of FX show Sons of Anarchy for two seasons and an actor on other shows including The O.C., as well as the fomer boyfriend of Katy Perry, was found dead last Wednesday outside of a Los Angeles home after either falling or jumping off the roof. He was 28 years old.

Police authorities are declaring Johnny a suspect in the gruesome murder of 81-year-old Catherine Davis, who he was renting a room from, in the minutes before his fatal fall. The LAPD and coroner have confirmed that Catherine died of "blunt force trauma and manual strangulation," according to E! Online. TMZ is also reporting that he allegedly beat and dismembered the woman's cat with his bare hands. Johnny was seen fighting with neighbors outside the home after the altercation, then spotted climbing up on the roof and later found dead on the driveway. It's unclear if drugs played a role, but it is suspected that Johnny was allegedly on PCP or meth.
