Miley Cyrus wants to be emancipated from her parents…hmmm, surprise surprise? Not really. What 16 year old girl who happens to be dating a 20 year old man wouldn’t want to be cut lose from the parental units?
Some peeps are reporting that she’s mature for her years, due to her life experiences; and, therefore it’s normal that she wants to be in full control of her life, finances, career, etc. Well, I think she’s actually just showing her age.
Teenage rebellion at it’s finest. Full on temper tantrum in the hugest degree. She just happens to be a teenager with the money to possibly pull something like this off.
Honestly, I hope the judge tells her to stop being a snotty-nosed brat and go home and listen to her parents. I dunno, maybe I’m being too harsh? What do you think?

In all honesty, I know her and her family, and they are all smart, good people. But I agree with you 100%.

Doesn’t every 16 year old think they are old enough to make their own decisions? Only most teens don’t have enough money to support themselves and have to give in to their parents. Miley doesn’t have that problem.

All of this should be done privately (Miley/Parents), this of-course will lead to millions of girls now wanting to be like Miley (hopefully not running away because they dont have Mileys money to do it her way), way to go Miley Spears!! Hollywood/Media manipulation of the masses!!!!

I’m sure she wants to be emancipated from her parents because she wants to run off with Justin Gaston and elope! I don’t see a ring on her finger yet though.
But I bet you if they ever did get married, Billy Ray Cyrus would find out.
And they would divorce before anyone knew they eloped and she would have already sold the engagement ring he gave her to http://www.idonowidont.com and realize she’s only 16 and needs to slow down!
