Zac Efron's Green Gift to Vanessa Hudgens

High School Musical co-star and real life boyfriend Zac Efron gave Vanessa Hudgens a trio of citrus tress for her 21st birthday! How sweet!

Vanessa was in Canada filming Sucker Punch during her birthday, which was on December 14th. So as a surprise, Zac had the three trees already planted on her Los Angeles estate for her when she got home. Nice touch!

Don't get too exited, he hired a gardener to do the actual planting. Zac picked out the trees though! Lemon, orange, and tangerine trees. Really it's the thought behind the present that counts. He is giving the gift of "green" by planting tress, rather then buying possessions. I would prefer a tree in my yard to provide food to eat over a traditional gift any day.

Vanessa was reportedly incredibly touched by the gift and loved it.

wow that's so sweet and thoughtful... what an interesting but awesome gift... it's like the gift that'll keep on giving--everytime she eats a fruit from the tree she'll think of him. So, if they break up that could be devastatingly sad in which case she'd prob need to sell her house but then could up the cost of the home bc peeps will want the house that zac efron has zac efron's handpicked trees....hahahaha
