American Idols Star Studded Charity Event

Posted on April 7, 2008 - 12:37am by loretta American Idol taped its 2nd annual charity event Idol Gives Back last night at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.  American Idol vowed that this years event would be bigger and more ambitious than ever and it will be.  With appearances from Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, and Robin Williams and performances by Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Fergie, and Snoop Dogg.   The Idol Gives Back charity event will benefit six different charities including: The Children's Defense Fund, Children's Health Fund, The Global Fund, Make It Right, Malaria No More, and Save The Children.  The event is scheduled to take place Wednesday April 9th at 7:30pm on Fox.  Donations will be taken via internet and phone or you call mail you donation to:                                                                                                                     Idol Gives Back                                                                                                                                                                       P.O.
