Britney Spears And Her Boys Cover OK! Magazine
The world has noticed that Ms. Britney Spears has been working really hard at her second attempt to take back the title of pop princess ever since her 2007 VMA performance tanked. She is not only looking healthier and more fit but she is back in the studio working on her next album, which I hope will put her back on the top of the charts where she belongs.
In the new issue of OK! magazine, which features Britney with her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, Britney opens up for the first time in two years about what life is like now that it is back on track. Here are some of the highlights:
On the boys not going into show business: I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.
On her new album: I think it is more urban. I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room… This is my best work ever.
On what she’s listening to these days: “I really like Rihanna. I think she’s great. And the girl Duffy. I think she’s amazing. And I like the new Madonna CD. I like Leona Lewis, too.”
On sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, pregnancy: I was shocked a little bit. She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling. I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie.
On what she calls son Jayden: “J.J.”
On her sons being so into cars: “[We’ve] watched the Cars movie nine million times!”
Dad, Jamie Spears, on Britney: God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good . . . If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys.
On if she cooks and cleans: “I do. Usually the maid and I will cook together. [The boys] love my spaghetti… I get mad if the maid does all the housework. If she takes it all into her own hands, well, what’s for me to do? I’m a cleaning fanatic. Dusting is my favorite, and Windex-ing.”
